View Full Version : PS2 Trance Vibrator! What games support it?

OK, here's a good one. I know that Rez (US/JP), Space Channel 5 2 (US/JP) and Disaster report (US/JP) all support the trance vibrator.
Are there any other games that support it, US or Import?

This is just a guess... but do all rumble-supported games use it?

OK, Flukester. I threw my U.S. Disaster Report into my U.S. PS2 with an ASCII Trance Vibrator plugged into USB port number 1. I went to the options and made sure vibration was set to "on". Then I started playing.
The result? Many vibrations in the Dual Shock 2, no vibrations in the Trance Vibrator. Now, I only played the game until I got into the restaurant on the bridge, but by that time I'd felt about a dozen tremors in the controller. So has anybody played further into the game (U.S. Dis.Rep. in U.S. PS2) with the Trance Vibrator hooked up? At this point it looks to me like Agetec somehow stripped out Trance Vibrator support when they ported Disaster Report to the U.S.
(Note: After not getting any feedback from the Trance Vibrator in Disaster Report, I booted up Rez and verified that the equipment was working properly. Then I tried Disaster Report again.)

Same here. I'm only at the beginning on the game but no luck with the Trance Vibrator so far. I've read that it should work but that appears to be wrong. The Vibrator features was probably removed along with the HDD support for the US version.
Great to use with Rez though.

Does the Trance Vibrator work with any PAL/European versions? My Trance Vibrator is on its way, together with a copy of the Japanese REZ game. Just curious, if it might work with any of my regular European games.

Yes, it works with the European version of Rez (and Space Channel 5 part 2 I would guess).

Thanks, I was just wondering if it was worth the price of admission, I mean I dont wanna spend $30 just for somesmall vibrating thing, eventohgh my ps2 does not let my controllers vibration work, it might enhance the rez experience.
