Quick XBox Live Question.

Alright, I have an XBox and I just ordered Live (should come in the mail before I am home from college for summer break, so it will be waiting for me.) I am also waiting for the green Mountain Dew Xbox to become available. I was wondering if I set up live on my black xbox could i also install it on my mountain dew box once i got it and only use one box at a time for live, or, once live is on an xbox, am i limited to that xbox for use with live????

i plan on using the dew box once i get it as my main gaming xbox, so should i just save my live package for when i can get the dew box, or doesnt it matter.

You would have to buy an additional Live kit for the Dew 'box if you installed one on your current 'box. You can't transfer accounts between systems.

thats what i thought...which sucks..but oh well.. no big deal. ill prolly just wait for my dew box.

No. Wrong. You can have your Live account on both Xboxes you just can't have them both online at once with the same account. You can transfer the Live account either through a memory card or maybe by using "account recovery" to get it back on the HD. I've personally transferred my Live account via memory card to another Xbox (traded my Thompson for a Philips) so I know for a fact it can be done.

well, thats good news since i planned on getting a memory card anyway for when i get my dew xbox to transfer my saves to that one.
