broken toploader..help

I seem to have the usual problem with many broken toploaders, the screen is all hazy fuzzy but it powers on, it looks like the screen you get when your cables all messed up, now i'm sure there's a threed about this somewhere but I have no idea how to go about finding it, is this a complicated fix? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I thought my toploader was broken once but realized it was a bad connection with the RF switch (it WAS an official one). Try twisting the switch around the connection and see if the picture quality changes. Mine would go from no picture at all to working.
