You're missing one. You don't have a Haunted Castle PCB in there

I have all of those myself...except Drac X (which I sold, but have another on the way complete) and Lament, which I didn't like at ALL. No boxes for yours yet?

I cant seem to locate that stand-up right now, so i have to settle for console games :P

I have about half of the boxes and 1/4 of the manuals, but i thought i'd just put out the carts for the pic since they arent all complete.

*salutes*

You have me outdone by two games: Dracula X and Legends. That is just as cool as hell. Keep on collecting, Castlevania aficionado. :)

I was seriously POed when they cancelled Resurrection for DC. Especially after seeing the intro and the character designs  !! It looks like it would have been very cool, and a much needed boost for the DC.

Very cool. :) I'm several games short of having a complete US collection, but then most of the ones I don't have I haven't bought yet because I don't like them much (pretty much everything after Circle of the Moon).

Very nice! Something I thought about doing sometime, but I only currently have 3 of them.

One question though: where be Castlevania: Bloodlines (Genesis)?

I am real close to my complete collection as well. I have seen Legends a few times for 20 bucks, but for some reason I havent bought it. I cant find Dracula X anywhere, and I dont feel like getting it over the internet. Lastly, I used to have the first Castlevania 64 but I sold it. I can get it whenever for around ten bucks so I dont think I will get it until I get the other two. Anyhoo - congrats!

Were you upset that the Game.com game never made it to shelves? :P

I honestly beleive that the DC version would have helped prolong DC's life, but i dont think the game.com version(even if it came packed with a $5 bill) would have made much of a difference. I mean come on, did you see RE for game.com O_O
LOL

Haha, owned! Resurrection looked like crap. I probably would've been able to get some fun out of it, but really, even though I'm playing CV: LoD on the '64 now, I think that sort of thing better stay in the past ;)

I guess we'll have to wait until this supposed alpha/beta version gets released to the internet.

Yes, and it would have come out if not for politics.

You see, back during the Dreamcast's early days, SEGA of America wanted a Castlevania game on the DC. SEGA got together with Konami of America and they worked out a deal. KoA contacted Konami of Japan and told them what SEGA had requested. Well, KoJ's Castlevania team at the time wanted none of it and said that if KoA wanted a Castlevania game on DC they should go program it themselves.

Calling KoJ's bluff, KoA did just that. An American team was thrown together and quickly created a caliber engine for the game and started to develop the game world, story, and characters.

Come E3 of that year (2001?) KoA had Castlevania Resurrection on display. Con-goers were quite impressed by what they saw and played. Naturally, people from KoJ got wind of this. Trouble flew.

KoJ's members started to throw a hissey, claiming Castlevania was a Japanese game series and how dare they take that from them. They said Americans couldn't possibly make as good of a Castlevania game as the Japanese branch (though just about everyone who played the demo disagrees).

In order to qualm the quibbling and keep relations from going sour between the branches, Konami of America killed the project at Konami of Japan's request (read: demand).

And THAT, ladies and gentleman, is People's Exhibt A for 'Why we are still under the Japanese thumb and control when it comes to video games!'

Hm, interesting notes there nz17. My impression of it (from video clips and screenshots) was that it would be awful. The music was interesting, though it would've been among the weakest for the series.

Resurrection is apparently the reason we've been given the "gift" of Legends, which introduces the character of Sonia (in any case a rather odd move - the GBC had been around for a while, and what would prompt KCE Nagoya to release such a substandard title?)...if there was indeed such a hissy fit as you say, why then did Legends get made?

I really hope this story isn't true because Konami made a pretty average Castlevania for PS2. Lets see we will take Devil May Cry and copy and paste a guy with a whip over Dante. There we now have Castlevania in 3D.

Hahaha, read the title and was hoping you'd updated with a Haunted Castle board (knew it was just the fix to include Bloodlines).

I like how everything's symmetrical.

As for Rondo...better get that one before prices go up any more! Last time I checked it was at a low price many places but that can always change.

Actually prices for Rondo aren't that bad. Keep in mind some years ago this title was fetching up to $300.00. I owned the title numeros times and the last time it cost me about $80.00.

$80 is a bit lower than I expected, but yes, you're saying what I'm saying, so we're all saying the same thing. LOL

Though $80 for an opened copy and $300 for a sealed copy (I saw copies offered BIN on eBay for $360 in 2002) are quite different.
