Hello. I recently bought an atari 7800 at a garage sale for $2. There was one catch, though. It had no wires or controllers. I'm trying to find the hook ups on ebay, and I was wondering if these auctions were what I needed:

Also, I need controllers for it. I've heard that the standard 7800 controls are painful to use, so what controls would you reccomend I buy?

Thanks for all Your help!

Those would be correct, but instead of the switch box, i'd recommend this:

As for the controllers, i highly recommend searching for these:

Unfortunatly the power supply is unique to the 7800 and a bit rare so its
near impossible to find it cheap. Instead of a switch box get this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62054&item=8102468657&rd=1

It'll give you an clearer signal and is easier to hook up to a modern tv. But
you can find this part at a decently stocked radioshack (as well as switch
boxes) for probably less.

You will also need to find an rf cable to connect to the tv. You should
find one on ebay or radioshack again might carry them. I have always had
good like finding them at thrifts so I've never really looked into it.

Also purchasing a set of Joypads is money well spent, the stock sticks are
crappola.
