I made a new web site for my Video Game Collection, and other things. It's not finished right now, but I think it looks pretty nice. It's on a free hosting server, so it has ads, but no pop-ups, I don't think. Please tell me what you think, and keep in mind, I am a 14 year old boy with small HTML knowledge. (Although mostly it was done in a "Visual editor") Please share your thoughts on it, and what I should have next. Thanks.
EDIT: Crud! I can't believe I didn't put the link... It's a good thing I put my web site link on my profile though. Anyway, the link is: http://hwvgc.bravehost.com/

Here's my feedback so far.
When you ask people to look at your website and evaluate it, it's always helpful to post the link. ;)

I think you're supposed to click the button at the bottom of his post that says "WWW"

Good use of colors, it's refreshing to see a "new" site that doesn't feel the need to use every clashing color of the rainbow.

What's with the "game with NFT mean NOT FOR TRADE" bit? Are those for sale, then? I'm not interested in buying, but I think that's going to scare some people off. A little bit more forceful there than is warranted, perhaps.
An' a nudge towards gametz.com or that other site which AdamG likes quite a bit (whose URL I've unfortunately forgotten...) - I'd use those over wasting precious space on a little game list few folks will find. You're more likely to get hits linking to your page off of one of those services, I'd think. You're certainly more likely to get trades from one of those places, and have a much better chance at getting a match you're looking for from one of 'em.

Well, I already have a list on GameTZ, but I want a web page so the people can actually see what games I have, once I get pictures of them and put them up. Also, I don't really want to have a lot of people come to the web site, it's for when I want to trade, I can give them the link to my web site. Also, the page won't only be for my collecting, and I'll have other things too. Like I said, it's not finished yet.

I did a quick read of some of the musings on your first page, good stuff! I hope you'll stick around, I get the impression that your views on gaming will fit right in around here :)
Also don't forget to introduce yourself at the thread stuck to the top of this forum.
Welcome!

Good layout, simple is best, and thank god someone else embraces the "light text on dark background" design.

Oh, I think I understand now. You do the trades on GameTZ but will use the site to host pictures. Not a bad idea!

Actually, I quit GameTZ a couple months ago. I'm done with the subscription crap, the rip-offing people, and the idiots that surround that site. Now I've found a new home, here, and I'm completely satisfied.

Looks good (if just a little familiar). My only question is this... how the heck do you suppress the underlining on your links? All my text-based links have underlines under them, and I've never been able to figure out how to shut them off.

I personally have no idea. Like I said, this was all pretty much done in a "Visual Editor"

@ManekiNeko
You can get rid of those underlines using Style Sheets

Anyway, I have made a Guestbook, so anyone that I've traded with, ONLY, will be able to tell how our transaction was. Also, everypone, please go to the Guest book anyway, becasue I want to know if the background music is working. It tends to work, then not want to work. If anyone can tell me why, I'd appreciate it.
