Metal Slug 3 for teh Xbox

If anyone is interested in checking it out, the new Xbox kiosk demo disk contains a demo for MS3. I'd never played a Slug game before, not even MSX on the Playstation, which I own.

It's frickin' awesome and I need it now! Too bad it's not out until the end of the month. :o

o.o never played o.o oh my, you missed alot, metal slug is my fav 2D game ever, and hands down my fav snk series, fav arcade games, lol, im suprised u never even came across one in the arcades. Anywho welcome to the world of MS :P im really looking foward to picking it up on xbox, im too poor to afford a neogeo :/

Hopefully I'll be working when the Xbox rep makes her rounds again in a few weeks so I can get that demo! (it goes without saying, of course, that I'll be buying the full version as well). I'm more pleased with the retro packages put out now than anything else pretty much. I've played the hell out of some Midway Arcade Treasures and I've got money down on the Mega Man Collection as well. God bless 2D.

It was supposed to be out 5/4/04!!! I just found out this morning that it got moved back. Promptly after completing this post I am going to jump into traffic. :( It is the first game I have been this excited about in a long time.

I assume it was censored like all previous Metal Slug games in the US? I'd love to pick it up, if only to support SNK for releasing it in the US but I refuse to buy a censored product.

Thankfully, I have it for Neo Geo, so I don't have to deal with the censorship. If I want to play the extras I'll just snag the Japanese Ps2 version.
