What is this? "Wario World" golden box

Got email today from Lik-Sang. Wario World. What exactly is it? Is it a remake of the one from two years ago? Or a new game? It does say "2004" on it. And the box looks golden. Very pretty. But what is it? A new game? A remade old one? I'm confused.

The description makes it sound like WarioWare. But it doesn't look like it in the screenshots. What is this? Anyone?

Supposed to be a gamecube version of Wario Ware coming out called Made in Wario it could be that game.

I don't believe that the orignal Wario World came out in Japan before.

It hasn't... which is weird considering it's a Treasure game. You only have to see the screens to know it's Warioworld (and not Wario Ware which the description is from!).

Heh.. I had a feeling it was the same game. I didn't think they would release Wario here and not in Japan first. That is what made me think it was different. I do like the box, though. Gold... nice. But not worth $60 to Import a $20 US game.

Nothing on videogame business will surprise me after the fact that Nintendo refused to release Sin & Punishment in the west, despite it being in English to begin with (voice acting etc.). :angry:

...Damn that gold box, another game to import. :)
