I'm thinking about picking up today the GTA Double Pack for XBox for my newly gotten system as a way to chear myself up (I have to go to the doctor's this morning for a ear infection).
I've HEARD that the XBox version of these two games are the BEST of the versions out there, better then the PS2 and PC versions.
Can anyone who has played two or three versions confirm this and tell me what's special about the XBox port?

Custom soundtracks springs to mind first of all, then much, much, much faster load times then the PS2.
The Xbox seems to be a bit clearer in the graphics, other than those things, nothing else is much different.

Shooting's easier with the PC version, but driving's better on a console. Also the XboX and PC versions have customizable soundtracks which is really nice. With the PC version you get more cheats, trainers and downloadable skins. Graphics I think were better on the XboX then they were on either the PC or PS2 but it's a slight difference.

The only problem i've had was that the pedestrians stop talking in Vice City at times. It's somewhat minor, but still a hinderance, and Rockstar was very evasive about the whole thing and showed no concern, i'm still rather peeved about that.
The graphics are better "much better", and the custom soundtrack option makes it better also than the ps2 version. One other thing that pisses me off though has to do with GTA3. They excluded the ultra violence/limbs and the flying dodo car codes "the car now just hops", which also kinda peeved me.
Oh yeah, the gameplay also really slows down when you use the tank, much more so than it did in the ps2 version. Ok, I think that's all my complaints now, heh.
All in all it's better just not perfect unfortunately.

hey guys, I havent really played Vice City too much, but my buddy does.
How do you shoot on the Xbox while driving?
I think it is one of the 2nd triggers on the PS2, but he cant fingure out how to shoot and drive.
Thanks all.
