just as a general info question, like a lot of you i hit the thrifts and fleas pretty often and sometimes come across some cool items i think someone might trade for games.
like me for example, i've traded games for castle lego sets.
how about you? music, videos, go-bots, what else do you seek?

Inversely-
I would trade repairs for games, even a number of commons, providing I don't have most of them.
I have fixed seriously broken Atari VCS's, ColecoVisions, and INTV. Controllers of all types. Some types of console mods too.
Honestly, I think about video games very differently from the way I think about other things I buy/collect. I have trouble crossing that line, if you know what I mean. Having said that, I would probably trade games for 80's metal paraphernalia or old D&D stuff.

Records.
Specifically Jazz, Soul and Reggae.
Even more specifically, 45s. (Though I'm always interested in LPs, I'm on a bit of a 45 kick lately.)
There are a bunch of not too hard to find 45s (well, not too hard to find if you know what you're looking for) that I'd gladly trade games for.

I'd trade games for comics (I have in the past) as well as novels, electronics, game soundtracks, and DVDs.

i only like to trade my games for other games, but i like to trade my cds and vhs movies for more games.
the only thing I would trade games for is money, and that is when it is a dupe I am trading. I've only traded about 17 games in my entire life.
