I was looking into getting one of these this summer, but I had a few questions first:
1. What makes this better than a GBA flashcart (I don't mean financially either)?
2. Can Super Mario RPG be fully emulated yet?
->If not, will it ever be able to be?
3. Frontlit or backlit?
4. Are the games made for the system worth it at $40ish a pop?
5. How does it connect to a PC?

If I think of anything else I'll post it. Answers and other comments are appreciated.

1. The Gp32 does Snes pretty good now with sound, and the Gba w/flashcart doesn't. And the Gp32 has a bigger screen and every Emulator I've run on it looks and plays better than the same ones on a GBA w/Flashcard.

2.Never tried it so I don't know.

3.The ones with lights are frontlit like the GBA SP. A backlit version is due out in a month or so and it will be around $50 more than the Frontlit version, but it is supposed to look a lot brighter and less washed out.

4.I haven't played one that was worth $40 .

5. It connects through the USB port.

I agree on all counts. I haven't seen a game worth $40 yet either. I'd pick up Pinball Fantasies, it's a great port. Other than that, most of the games are either partially or completely in Korean. But trust me, there are SO many free programs out there for the GP32 that it will be a long time before you want or need to buy anything.

5) You can also just remove the SM card and plug it into a card reader attached to your PC to transfer programs to and from it.

Cool, sounds good. Any chance of anyone who owns one being able to try SMRPG for me :D ?
