I got a really nice deal, 7 games in one lot, all with manuals except for Mario 3. The lot includes Dragon Warrior II, Castlevania 3, Zelda II (gold), Tiny Toons Adventure, Metroid (yellow), Mario 3, and Othello. Just Dragon Warrior II alone w/ manual sells for at least $25. It also came with the cleaning kit w/ box.

Congratulations, and welcome to the club! Every journey begins with a single footstep. And just think, you just started with seven!

It seems like I had a spare Mario 3 manual out in my box o' junk, I'll check tonight and see if I can't help you out in that department.

Very nice. :) Those would definitely go for a lot more if each was sold by itself.

welcome to NES collecting. i am at 111 carts myself, and i know there are quite a few people out there with complete sets, or very near complete sets. its a lot of games to collect, but it is probaby one of the best video game systems of all times. enjoy your new games.

Thanks all!

Flack - thanks, but that is actually one of the manuals I already had :)

Daria - nope, I forgot about them until I paid via PayPal, plus I would have only been interested in the NES one and they run pretty cheap on eBay and...*takes breath*....they are probably not too hard to find.

Anyhow, I can hardly wait to get them!

I'm glad that you weren't willing to go up that high ;). Actually, it's a great deal, probably 50-60 bucks worth of stuff there (if sold separately). And yes, it's a great start, too.

-_- awww, what a shame! j/k ;)

Earlier this year, I saw an auction for some NES game, and in itsy bitsy (like this) letters, it said: "as a free bonus, I will include an Action 52 cartridge". HA! FREE? It still sold for like $50...

Sweet, awesome to see another NES collector step on in. Get ready for your new addiction. While there are defenitely a LARGE share of bad games for the system, there are about 3 times the amount of kick ass ones available.
