That thing is so cool. It looks kinda cheesy, maybe just cause I have never seen someting like that in cd form.

Whats really cool is when you have one of those (well I have one of those from a band) that has YOUR name on it. Either way those things are huge, but a great conversation starter.

I didn't bid much above what it is at now. It'd be curious to have, but not something I necessarily want. ;)
I wish they made those for videogames though. I'd snap em up so fast. ;)

Yeah, if only the RIAA distributed games too.
Should you win this, when it makes it to your house, make sure that the seal on the back hasnt been broken. The RIAA frames all of these things themselves, and they then put a sticker to try and help prevent tampering. Dont know why someone would want to tamper with one (except to pull the "gold/platinum" plated disc/vinal out of one). But keep an eye put for that.

Ok kids, I bought this thing. I have no idea why. So, now I offer it in a trade. I'll hand this thing over for an XBox Live kit with headset. Like a 3 month sub and headset. If you give me Capcom vs SNK 2 for XBox, it's shipped free.
I'm serious. I still have the box it came in, and it'd be on its way asap.

Maybe I'm not fully understanding what this is but if this is really a plaque that the artist(s) get when their album sells a million copies then its really sad that it sold for only $56.

Its a repro man. They sell them at tons of music stores.

Not exactly a repro, just one given to smaller stores.
