Why has it got an expansion port at the bottem of it? was it ever used?

The 3d glasses was there any need for them? I just played on it for 5 min and my eyes hurt

To my knowldge, the expansion port was never used, unless there's something I don't know about. It's probably there for peripherals that never came to be. The later SMSII dropped it entirely.

I wouldn't say there's a need for the 3d glasses, but they do enhace the Master System games, or any game at all for that matter. Plus they make you irresistable to the opposite sex and improve your driving ability tenfold. Seriously, try it.

I think like with all systems, expansion is always a possibility.

I believe Sega had planned a FM unit and Disk drive for US release early on... I know I saw an ad online showing those things along time ago, but I lost the link and could never find it again.

and the 3-D glasses RULE!!!!! (try them in a dim room for the best effect)
