Here's a question I dont know and havent seen asked. Some of my intelly boxes have french text as well as english. That is the only difference, the text for the title and some times more info on the back of the box. So, would one keep both of these? The carts and manuals are the same for both kinds. I dont think I have any Sears carts, but these are my only differences Ive noticed on my doubles.
thanks all and game on!

I say keep everything if you have the space.
I've got Kikstart II for the C64 four times and each one is slightly different:
Kikstart 2, Kik Start II, etc.
It can get silly.

I think the difference might be that games which originally sold in Canada would have required both English and French labelling to be legally sold in stores (we are officially bilingual.)
The games themselves would be identical otherwise I think, since they are manufactured for North America.
But I think having both'versions' kinda makes them not true doubles.IMHO
I am not positive if this is the reason....

Yes, they are from Canada. I have 10 or 15 different bilingual boxes like that. there are also some with boxes with slits in the back of the box for manuals in other languages. I think these are from Europe.

one English & one French.....

Canadian versions, of course. :)
Now, how about the box variations where they have the flip open box and the other box with only the top/bottom flap that opens up. I have a few of them too, and I figure they are different so keep em. Oh and while Im asking questions, the carts that have the white labels.....are those Sears carts? I've never seen a Sears cart that I know of.

There are no Sears "carts" only bxes and manuals. The white labels and/or boxes that open from the top and bottom are later releases. There may be some overlapping of variations. Mattel sold the Intellivision rights to a group of employees (Intellivision, Inc.) and that somehow later became INTV, Corp.. I'm not that up on the history but I think that is basically how it went. The first few games have more colorful instructions, the carts are heavier and they don't have the "insert to" line molded in to the case.
Mattel Intellivision (book style box, colored labels)
Intellivision, Inc. (box opens on ends, colored labels)
INTV Corparation (box opens on ends, white labels, b&w instructions)
