Best Love Story in a Game?

I've been wondering about this recently as I need a love story game to play. WHat would you say is the best one of them all? And please say why. I've played through FFX and FFX-2 and don't really count them... I mean, come on. Yuna and Tidus don't really interect much until much late into FFX.

none of the final fantasy games ever got it quite right, I have a hard time believing that Tidus is straight, Squall played the badass role throughout FFVIII, got the girl, then was all smiles in the end, which leads me to believe that Rinoa dumps him within three months, and Cloud has gone through way too much emotional trauma to be emotionally involved with anyone.

Huh.....love stories.....so many ones to pick from.

I would say Alex and Luna from Lunar: Silver Star as well as Hero and Lucia from Lunar: Eternal Blue. There's also Cecil and Rosa from FFIV, Locke and Celes from FFVI, Squall and Riona from FFVIII, and Tidus and Yuna from FFX.

Oh, and one of my personal favorite: Kings Quest VI, where you playing as a young prince goes through hell and back (literatly) to win the hand of a good looking princess.

I'll go with Zero & Iris from Megaman X4. Unfortunately, zero kills her brother, and then she goes berserk and attacks in a giant ride armor thing, forcing zero to kill her. So sad. :(

Grandia II had Millenia and Elena trying to get the hero (Ryudo). I was kinda suprised with how it all ended. good story AND its a great game too :D

A vote for Justin and Feena from Grandia. Ryudo, from the second game was too "pimpish" for me.

I also really liked Allen's crush relationship with Shion, from Xenosaga. He always made me laugh.

...and of course Alex and Luna. I didn't care for the Hiro/Lucia relationship, only because Hiro always struck me as some horny little boy and Lucia annoyed me to no end. Alex and Luna's love was pure and innocent and more likable IMO....then again the only character I liked from Eternal Blue was Lemina.

Oh and Nash and his ego. :D

Zelda and Link. I mean, she always manages to get herself into trouble, forcing Link to stop whatever he happens to be doing to go rescue her. Then he barely gets a thankyou before she goes and gets kidnapped again. And Link still goes to save her! If that's not love, I don't know what is.
