Uh... if you don't mind me asking, how/where did you get those, and do you have any access to Doubutsu No Mori E+ cards?

Cool pages, BTW.

Originally i was going to get them all from my friend living in japan but he couldnt find the mario advance 4 cards anywhere.

Luckily a few months later i spot a complete set on yahoo auctions japan and i asked my friend to get them for me so thats how i managed to get the full set it was pretty lucky.

As for Doubutsu no mori+ cards i have quite a lot but they are the ones made for the original gamecube game & e-reader without the link port.

there are 8 series of doubutsu no mori cards in japan. The first 4 series were for the original doubutsu mori+ version. Then they released another 4 series for the newer doubutsu no mori E+ version.

Too bad we can't get some of those cards in the US - the 100up one looks cool. I wish Nintendo Power had more promo cards in it.

If you have any DNM+ cards for trade, let me know... I have an e-reader+ and I can use DNM+ cards on DNMe+. I have most of series one but that's it.

Can you use those Help cards (eg; one leaf, one star) at any time in the game or is it restricted somehow? :o

Damn those e-cards. I payed ~$75 for an e-reader, all the Mario 3 cards, and the Mario 3 re-relase, and what does Nintendo of America do? They discontinue them after releasing about 30 cards. DAMN YOU NOA! DAMN YOU! Seriously though, expensive could it be just to release a few fucking cards?

The help cards can be used at any time and as many times as you want. You scan the cards when your on the map screen.

The only card that has a restriction on it is the 100UP mushroom card, that card can only be used once per game save slot.

I called Nintendo and they said that the rest of the Mario E-Cards will come out in June/July.

I really really wanna try that Classic W1-1 SMB world. I wish they'd release every level in that game.

I really think that the eCards discussed in the various previews for Metal Slug Advance are not actual physical cards that are used with the e-reader. Rather I think they are cards that you collect in-game. Whenever the cards are refered to officially they are "card-e." So I dont think Metal Slug will have Card-e reader support.

So, how many bonus levels are there really in SMB 3? Are all these levels already available in North America (or about to be available)?

There are twelve Level cards in the North American e-Reader series for SMB3: ten cards in the set, then one card that has "Classic World 1-1" on it (from SMB1), and then a promo card that was only available along with 2 other cards if you pre-ordered the game from Wal-Mart. That card was called "Airship's Revenge."

As I understand it, the levels are actually on the cards themselves and not in the game, so it's not like you're actually "unlocking" the levels, if that's what you're asking.

Well today i finally did it.

I used an action replay to send the save data to my pc. The hardest part was converting it from the action replay save format to a .sav format that could be used with the vba emulator but i did it & now all the japanese e-reader levels are available plus access to the mushroom houses & a full castle of e-coins.

Heres a pic for now.
