We are trying to decide where to advertise. What sites do you frequent that are video game related? I like the video game comic ones myself, but I'm sure some of the popular ones will refuse the ads :P

Video game related sites.....hum.....

Well, this one of course, and GameFAQ's. I check those every day. On a weekly basis I check Atari HQ, the Atari Historical Mesuem, and the Blew Sky Rangers. And there are others I pop into once a month or as the need strikes me. :)

Moonpod seemed to do a pretty good job getting webcomic coverage. User Friendly, 8-Bit Theater, Penny Arcade... Worked for me.

I'm going to move this over to the gaming forum, as it seems more topic-appropriate there.

Well, it doesn't matter to me where you advertise. I haven't seen an ad in months. (With Ad/PopUp blockers for the internet, SPAM filters for email and TiVo for the TV, I wish I had one for real life. Guess it's no big deal. At least until the Billboards start chasing me and posters get in my way.)

But I'll say AtariAge, Digital Press... Gamerz Universe and Xbox Advanced. (Formerly FunXbox)

I agree, ads have gotten so annoying that I ended up migrating over to FireFox and block all ads now, flash ads included.

FireFox is such a Safari Wannabe. LOL

Ditto. I have it all turned on. No ads ever show up. No pop-ups. No ads. I am happy. And, with PithHelmet installed (Which blocks the Ads when linked to) I can add naughty servers to the list. Basically, when a page takes forever to load, I check the Activity list and see what domain is being the problem (It's usually on this site only, and always someone linking to a troublesome website for their Avatar and Signature.) and just ad it to the Block list.

So far I've had to add www. abscape .org, www.streamingrockclips.com and forums.networknext.com to the list because people were linking to images on those sites to show their avatars.

What kind of evil person do you think I am? I'm not talking about pop ups or stuff like that. I'm talking about normal unassuming banner ads and the like.
I don't like those ads that pop in the middle of the screen or force you to close your browser, etc.. but I don't think I've even been like "ACK! A banner ad! *cringe*"

So we block it. Nothing wrong with that. Go ahead and put ads up wherever you like, just keep in mind that many people won't see them anyway. :)
