Best Buy Halo 2 Preview Disc and Controller (RE: Rarity)

Just saw this in Best Buy had to get it just because it spoke to me. It was $9.99.

It's a Halo 2 Preview Disc and controller with coupon book.

The controller looks generic. No name on the apparent face plate. (Would have been nice if it said "Halo 2" or something.)

The disc has some really cool videos. First the old preview video from when it was introduced. (Seeing as the whole package came out last year apparently. The coupons are expired. You'd think they'd tell me or something. Whatever.) Then game play. Some cool shit right there. We had to stop it soon after. But I'll watch again later. The coupons are expired and all for last years games. Too bad. No coupons usable. But at least I can keep it all semi-mint on my shelf.

Anyone know about these? Was there a thread before? How rare do you think it may become? Especially complete. Like in about 5 years.

I bought mine a while back, before X-mas I think. Paid $19.99. Ended up using the coupon for the Pelican selector. They must have had about 50 of them at the time. I highly doubt they'll be rare, but it's a nice piece.

I got mine for like 15 in mid Jan. Last time I saw some (right before the coupons expired @ the end of Feb 04) they were 4.99.
The controller is total craptacular 3rd party, and the only thing thats decent is the Demo DVD that has the same stuff on it, thats been out for a looong time (The Jump footage, 8 minute E3 03' trailer and somethin else im not remembering). I dont think that it will be all that common in the future, but at the same time, all that desired, unless theres someone who is clamoring for everything Halo. Now if that controller was Microsoft, and branded, then it's be a different story.
