Wonder Boy in Monster Land works quite well. There isn't really any small text that's rendered unreadable by the screen size. Alex Kidd in Miracle World is probably the same way.

Not all of them work great. Wimbledon is almost unplayable, as is Lemmings. Some games that look really great are:
WB3: Dragonīs Trap
Outrun and Outrun 3D
Cyber Shinobi (the 11% speed increase makes this game look very good)
Streets of Rage
But I want to know of the others

Hang On and Zillion work well on a game gear.

11 percenwha? Fill me in on this....not following you here...what is this a pal game or something? Wouldn't that give a 16.666667 % increase?
Oh, and I think there's a couple gams that don't work with the Master Gear converter...dunno what they are.
Also, I could be wrong, but I don't believe the 3d or light gun games work with it or the Alex Kidd japanese BMX controller...someone correct me?

I believe there was an adapter that allowed you to use a SMS controller for player 2 through the link port for one of the SMS-GG adapters, that might allow you to use a special peripheral, but few of those games had a 2 player option, so I don't know if it'd be possible.

I said 11% because someone said that was the speed increase when playing a game on a GG with the Master Gear Converter (no matter if itīs Pal or Nstc)
And yes, Hang-On works very well
Any more? :D

All of the Sonic titles work pretty well on it.

Um, it WOULD matter if it's Pal or NTSC, because the GG runs at the same exact speed as a NTSC SMS.

Guess that explains why all my games run faster then, which IMO makes a lot more games less fun :(

I know Hang-On works really well on the Master Gear and I know Shanghai is really bad on the Master Gear. :o

Oh god, ha ha, Shanghai would make my eyes bleed. It's tricky enough seeing the tiles without trying to do it on a tiny screen with poor contrast.

Any of the 3D games won't work (in 3D) simply 'cause the converter hasn't got a card slot for the glasses.
Lightguns won't work, well, just because of the display method LCD's use. Supposedly there's a lightgun on display on E3 that will work on LCD's, plasmas, TFT's and such but it's hardly as cool as the real Light Phaser... :)

Um, that's only applicable if you've only ever played SMS games on a 50Hz PAL console. As others have said, the GG plays at the same speed as a 60Hz US SMS.
And if there's anyone still only playing in 50Hz - what are you playing at? Get modding (or importing) :) I simply cannot bear to play anything in 50Hz these days.

Someone above said Zillion.
ZILLION?
How do you read the keycards? :hmm:
