I was going to play my Atari yesterday and found out that the wire of the power supply somehow broke in two. Not only can I not play my Atari, but my Intellivision aswell. My intellivision doesn't turn on at all. Another messed up thing that happen to me was that one of the pins of the Turbo Grafx 16 controller broke. Oh yeah, and the cable that connects the disk drive to the keyboard for the Commodore 64 disappeared and is no where to be found. :o

Get ready for the flood of "my PS2 quit reading discs" responses.

Honestly, the worst thing that's happened to any of my consoles was when my NES started blinking. Everything else I own (including my PS2) still works.

Well....sometimes my NES would flash different colors on the TV screen as the power light would blink on and off.

:D

After i modded my Genesis for imports sometime the power switch wont "connect" and you have to push on it a bit to make the system come on.

Hardware wise, I've been fine, but recently I put my PC Genjin 2 Hu card into my PC Engine, turned it on, had the title screen partially fade in, then the system froze, and after that, the game never worked again.

I got in a wreck and I had a n64 in the back seat and we just went shopping and some liquid laundry soap busted and dumped into it.

But like most nintendo made products I went home and hooked it up and it worked. LOL

Lent a friend my playstation, got it back and the controller port didn't work. Cracked it open to see if I could fix it and the inside had a ton of cheeto bits in it.

That is why I will not lend games out to people. I am too picky about my stuff staying in mint condition.

The first Xbox I bought, crapped out on me after about 3 months. It kept insisting that my disc was damaged or dirty and I kept screaming "its brand new assclown." Luckly I bought a warranty on it, and brought it back to Gamestop. Got a new system, took it home, plugged it up, plugged in controller, started up system....and the controller went nuts. The thing would not stop vibrating. Took it back up to work, and tested it on the display Xbox and the fucking thing continued to vibrate like mad. @_@

The most messed up thing to ever happen to a system was when the Genesis mysteriously became a Majesco product. A day that will live in infamy...in 1998...I swear.

Yikes! Did it still work? If not, did you take the money to replace it out of the dude in blood?

My sega Genises fell off my tv when I was younger, still doesnt work right.
Also- As I was bringing my burgertime cab into the video game room i accidently stepped on the power cord and ripped it out of the back. It was pretty easy to fix though.

One of the pins on my jaguar controller got bent, the "up" didn't really work anymore. A hour of screwing with it I managed to get it in the system and working, that was over a year ago, to this day I am till afraid to remove the controller.

He was bleeding before he even finished. The guy was hammered, a total assclown (my roommate wasn't much better), and just being a total jerk that night. I was playing Dungeon Explorer when he did it. It was some kind of statement about how the TG was lousy and it didn't rate any better than to be urinated on. He was about 5 seconds in when I jumped up and tackled him. At the time the system was probably only worth $20 but it was obviously the point rather than the money. If my rommate and a couple other guys hadn't pulled me off of him I probably would have hurt him pretty badly. He sure as hell wasn't in any condition to defend himself...

I got the shell cleaned up but unfortunately it shorted out when it happened. Fried. It was on.
