I was wondering if there is a list of games that truly are rare that should be snatched up for sure if someone ever came across them. Summer is a great time for garage sales but I don't know what games really are rare and worth collecting. I am mostly interested in SNES games. Almost every ebay seller says that the games they are selling are rare, so how do you know.

I have gone to the rarity guide in this forum, but I really don't get it. Maybe I am reading it wrong. Can anyone list a few SNES games that truly are rare and would be valuable to a collector who is just starting out (me).

Thanks :D

Have you bought the DP Collectors Guide? It's a great book and really worth the investment and you can keep it in your car for reference.

Its quite easy acutally.
See those links to the left of here, ya know the ones that say Submit News, Mystery game and the like? Well click Collector's Guide (http://www.digitpress.com/dpg_plug.htm) and all your questions will be answered. DP Collectors Guide 7 (i think) is the current incarnation that covers all the old stuff up thru the 8-bit era. DP Advanced (out this summer) covers everything from past the 8-bit era thru PSOne/DC.

Hey Achika/Darth think that this should be shimmied from Ebay insanity, to the VG forum????
