Heh Bioware gave him a beer. (:
That's pretty fucked up though. Hoarding water? o.O
Oh- right and the console stuff was enlightening too. System looks like a prop from a science fiction movie though, those entirely white rooms that look all stark and steralized.

Thanks a lot, Captain! I've been feeling more than a little guilty about all the whoring I've been doing around here this week, glad to see people are enjoying it. :D

Wow! That is amazing...there at e3 showing off there "reciever" and they don't even know anything about it! Other than the obvious.
And the water...SHEESH...what a bunch of morons.
I was already turned off to the phantom from the beginning, but now, I definately am.

I think of it more like "what if the Sega Channel and a George Foreman Grill had a baby?"

It IS a good read. Personally, the console design is much better than that dumb looking blue thing...maybe if they'd done a "demonic" mod of it with spikes coming out of the sides like fins on a '50s automobile, it would've been okay...but all things considered the current design isn't the worst they've come up with. I guess most of the time they spent on things was on the server side, and the Phantom itself is just glob chipped here and there...that video card better be upgradeable, though.
Such a heartwarming story. I'll post it here and there :P

Oh, and while Scoots is an awesome guy, Larson's the one who wrote the article. (Are you at e3, Scoots?)

Hell no, I wish... I get to babysit the site while the Fatman is away having fun.

Good article. I wasnt going to get a Phantom, but this is to better seal the deal. They are asking to be slaughtered trying to launch at 3yr anniversary of the Gamecube and XBox, and 2 yrs of XBL. That with Halo 2 a week before, they are lost in the shuffle.
If possible try and send someone back to ask, what happens when your HD is full of games? If you delete them, are they gone for ever, or can you get them back with out paying for them again?

I would be shocked if somewhere out there there wasn't a George Foreman Famiclone.

good job with the E3 coverage!
I found the NGage info about the Palladium-Rifts game to be interesting. Good to see Palladium finally enter the video game matrket, too bad it's on the NGage.
As for the Phantom... not my cup of tea. I prefer my games to exist on a tangible media and not on the hard drive only.
