Is Silhouette Mirage worth getting for the Playstation? I am aware that the Saturn version is superior. But by how much? SH is one of the only Treasure developed titles that I don't own. I almost always am impressed by what they put out. Somebody please help! PLEASE!!! Thanks to all

It's certainly worth getting. I got it two weeks ago in perfect condition, and although I can't compare it to the Saturn version, it IS a 2D sidescrolling masterpiece...funny, a parody of 2D action games like Parodius, strategic, and with the two-color absorbing enemy shooting a forerunner to Ikaruga. Read a review by IGN to get an impression of the game.

It's cheap on ebay (I got it for $3), it's a great and unusual game with first class gameplay, there is no reason NOT getting it if you're interested in less quantity and more quality like I am.

Working Designs is a great publisher; after I got the two Lunars, Arc, and Vanguard Bandits, and after I enjoyed to no end the great strategy guides of WD (only missing the ridiculously expensive Lunar 2 guide), I looked into more WD games and bought Raystorm, Raycrisis, and also Silhouette Mirage, and everyone of them is first-rate.

Thank goodness I got the Lunar 1 guide by Zach Meston for a very reasonable price, now if I could only snap his Lunar 2 guide as well....oh my.

I can't compare it to the Saturn version either, but I'll also chime in to say that the PlayStation version is definitely worth getting. It was one of those games doomed to sell poorly before it was even released, so I got my copy for $20 brand new just a few months after its release. At this point, it's probably one of the best under 10 dollars PSX games you can get.
