Do you wanna make 2D games without having to learn how to program?
Visit http://www.gamemaker.nl/ to learn more. Although you dont have to program you can with a built in script editor.

Why isn't there a 0 (or better yet, negative) rating?
Anyhow, hello to you too!

Ok, I have added a "zero" option. I would have used the numerical form "0" except it kept messing up when I tried to add it. I did not add a negative rating because if you hate the program that much then use "zero"; it will represent that you don't like it at all, so there is no need for a negative.

I'm already learning how to program. :P
I'm the kind of person that always wants to have full control over something I'm creating, even if that means I'll have to do it the harder way. It's like... I'd rather manually type up a site in HTML than use some web hosting service's page builder. That's why I'd rather learn programming code than use a "game maker". Sure, you can make a cool game maybe, but you'll not really getting anything out of it. You're not learning anything, and you can make a much better game if you know what's going on "behind the scenes".
No offense, though, I'm just going off on a tangent. o_O

No vote on my part. It's PC-only, and I'm a Mac user.

Makes me smile to hear about other Mac users. Makes me cry when I cant use a lot of software or easily program anything.

Aussie2B is right, Programming is better. I just thought there might be someone here who would find a use out of it. And for the Mac users your not really missing anything if your wanting a game maker. GameMaker is a basic program and you CAN find something better than this.

WEll Im glad I hate macs...I guess I sorta hate windows too, but I just cant stand macs. I played that mario game, waht would be even better is if somebody made a level creator for mario world using the same sprites from it... so I could make the levels I play...or somebody could make a mario world 3, the REAL sequal to one of the greatest games ever made.
