How exactly was Stadium Events for NES packaged when it was originally sold ?

I've heard the Stadium Events cart referred to as a "Pack-in" with the Family Fun & Fitness Pad, were they packaged in the same box ? If so, why did i see a standard, MIB copy of S.E. on Ebay a while back with the little hanger still glued to the top of the box ? Would'nt that mean it was sold by itself like a standard game ?

And how rare exactly is the 3-F pad ? Say, compared to it's counterpart, the S.E. cart ?

The game and pad were sold seperately. The pad isn't really rare because it's identical to the FFF pad released in Europe. The box that the pad came in for its US release is much more scarce than the pad.
