It's time for my annual vacation, and with vacationing, comes game hunting in all new locations! So I'm looking for classic gaming stores (or places that carry classic games) in the following states:

Tennesse
Georgia
Florida (panhandle)
Southern Alabama
Mississippi

Don't worry, I'll just be passing through these locations, I won't make these stores my permanent hunting grounds :D

To be honest, the best way to do it is this. Open the phonebook, find the losting that has all the Gamestop/EBs. Tear out that page. Go a huntin! Use mapquest if you can to get directions. That's what I did when I was in Atlanta for a month. I visited about 15 pawns and 15 game stores. Made off like a bandit I did.

What I do is go to www.yellow.com, search the entire state for the category I'm looking for in stores under dex online (try video games, thrift, pawn) and it will give you the goldmine. Even narrow it down to city and get a whole day's hunting list.

Not a bad idea, I'll do this. What I was looking for more than anything I guess is recommendations from fellow gamers.

Then again, if a fellow gamer has hit one of the stores, there wouldn't be anything good left ;)

I'm local to Tennessee, Knox and blount County specifically.

There are a few good places. Game Crazy at Hollywood Video Alcoa has a lot of NES/SNES/Genesis.

Game Haven next to Foothills mall has a lot of the same.

But the real GEM if you're coming to Tennessee.

Green Acres Flea Market, on Alcoa Highway/291

Against one of the walls inside...well pretty much the whole wall. There's a guy who has been there since like my mother was a child. He has a -LARGE- selection of video games, vintage, modern, you name it. I always get good deals from him. He's got some good stuff, like an Xband Genesis modem that's been there long as I can remember. His name is Chuck, he's got toys, games, manga, you name it. The man pretty much dominates every trip I take to the Flea Market. Buy-sell-trade
