Please help identify this Famicom/NES game!

I found it on a Mario famicom Multicart (pirate of course) from Mexico City called 'Mario Family'. It was a hack of another game with Mario 3 sprites thrown in. You had the ability to tap a button to turn into a ball (like a roly-poly?) and smash into enemies, bounce, et cetera. It had a world map like SMB3 did and a status bar at the bottom like .. you guessed it .. SMB3.

Went by the name 'ROCK MARIO IV'. Can anyone identify what it is REALLY called?
