What does the rest of the NES-style GBA look like?

I just pre-ordered one of those NES-style GBA systems the other day and I'm curious what the rest of the system looks like. The only pics I've seen are of it flipped open (with the screen and controls showing). Anyone know what it looks like closed? Does it look like a NES deck?

As far as I know the rest of it is grey. Its just the part with the D-pad and buttons that has that nes controller style sticker on it.

i didnt preorder mine yet, cuz i didnt start my job, so i dont know if ill have the money...ill end up just picking it up later....but i have also been wondering what it looks like closed..id love to see a pic

From the pics I've seen so far, it definitely looks like it's two-tone grey. You can see that the bottom half is a darker grey then the top, just like a NES deck. I'm hoping it will have that black stripe on the top.

Also, I thought I read somewhere that these weren't just platinum GBA SP's with an NES overlay sticker slapped on the controls....it's a new design with the NES graphics built into the GBA. Don't think anyone knows for sure though.

If it was a sticker, that would be terrible.

My cash will go to the DS. I dont need a third GBA.

I don't think the NES GBA SP uses a sticker for the old style grraphics. If it does I am returning it on the spot and am going to put the money toward a DS which I think I should do anyway. I have never bought a system soley on looks. This is my first. I do love the SP titles ive played and own though. I think the GBA SP is my favorite current system among the Xbox, Ps2, and GC. As for all the classic titles coming for the GBA i'm not impressed and a little bit upset with the price tag. $20 for Super Mario? Just when I thought Nintendo couldn't milk that title anymore they prove me wrong. I would suggest getting an NES Multicart with a couple hundred accurately emulated NES games within. They are pretty cheap too.

I'm pretty sure that it's not just a sticker. I could have sworn I read on Gamespot or some Nintendo web site that the controller graphics is built into the GBA. On the other hand, you really can't believe everything you read on the internet.

I'd be surprised if it was just a sticker. Nintendo has done some questionable things in the past, but I highly doubt that they'd release this GBA with a lousy NES controller sticker. That would just be too sleazy of a thing to do.

Well one things for shure the d pad and the buttons are different colors from the usuall sp. So it looks like they did more then slap some sticker on it.

See....and I basically got flamed when I posted my "It's not a sticker" topic when I got the news, and everyone told me no one would think it was a sticker and I was crazy!
