when i have my 32x hooked up with my sega cd/genesis, some of my "movie" games come out in and out of black and white and color, setting my tv color high helps it stay in color, but i always have to set it back, and i know its my 32X because those games are just fine without the 32X attached. there are also 4 lines that come down about 3 inches on the screen when i set the color up high. help!!!

If you can swap out the video connector wire (from the 32X to the Genny), I'd try that first.
Could be the video out on the 32X.
Are you using A/V cables, or RF out of your 32X to your TV?

im using my rf cord that came with it. if anyone can set me up with a genuine sega brand genesis to 32x cable for model 2, ill try swapping it out. my cable is home made but didnt always have the problem. i could also use those spacer things if anyone has them. any other suggestions?

Well deserved kudos for the effort, but...
my cable is home made but didnt always have the problem.
...adds too many variables to bother trying troubleshooting anything else.

can anyone hook me up with the sega brand model 2 32x to genesis cable, and those spacers? or know where i can get one?

LOL i really donīt get why your home made connector would cause so much trouble! After some experimenting i finally made a connector to hook up my 32x to my sega genesis model 1 console (with a sega cd model 1 attached to it).
but connecting a genesis 2 console and a 32x, man that's easy!
you only need solid core wire and one on one connection, lead included,
and that's all. how about replacing your connector this way? it's easy, it's fast
it's cheap and if you use the shortest wire you can to connect them both the less interference you will get, no sweat at all! 8-)
replace your rf too, some hitachi video cameras use the same mini din plug
as the infamous sega one , use only the video out put from the 32x and get
stereo sound using the audio out from the sega cd.
i did that and boy what a difference :eek 2:

i didnt make the cable and have no idea how. it came with my 32X back in Jan.
