With the sumptuous selection of new releases, what games are you going to pick up?

I already managed to get Vice City and TH4 for Xbox, and I'm on the list for:
Xbox Live
Xbox Splinter Cell
Xbox Metal of Honor: Frontline

I may have to splurge on Xbox Baldur's Gate if someone can tell me there's something new in that game.

Nothing against PS2, I'm thinking of getting the PS2 Online kit and Socom or something.

Well, since DoA Volleyball is pushed off into next year, the only things left on my list are:

Resident Evil 0 GCN
XBox Live XBox
Phantasy Star Collection GBA
Pinball of the Dead GBA
Super Monkey Ball Jr. GBA (maybe)

...and a truckload more of Animal Crossing cards.

My list wound up being fairly short as well, since .Hack, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Guilty Gear X2, and Silent Hill 3 aren't coming out until next year.

Phantasy Star Collection (GBA)

I might just buy a GameCube and Metroid Prime, provided that I can get a decent deal on them. And I still want to pick up Shadow of Destiny and Ring of Red for the PS2, though both have been out for well over a year.

Kid...I just picked up Ring of Red this weekend. The atmosphere in th cutscenes is really cool (with the whole Japan Empire Civil War and Soviet/US Invasion instead of Atomic ending to WW2), but the game seemed sorta dull. I dunno, maybe I just don't get it. The mechs move reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaly slow. It's painful.

The new Contra game for PS2 for sure and Kingdom Hearts for sure. Possibly Suikoden 3 as well (depends on my rpg fix).

Everything else coming out, I either have no interest in or plan to wait until the games get cheaper. I'm not impressed with most of what's coming out and already out. I am looking for Fatal Frame (PS2), ZOE: Fist of Mars (GBA), Robotech: Battlecry (PS2 or GC), Dynasty Tactics (PS2), and Run Like Hell (PS2) but I'm in no hurry to get any of them. Mostly I don't want to pay the $75-80 + tax each for the PS2 stuff cause of the stupid worthless Canadian dollar :(

I'd trade for any of those titles if anyone has them for trade btw :)

And the Medal of Honor for X-box "Some people have said bad things about how the character moves slow and its too difficult, personally I prefer to play with some realism and the people bitching that they cant do backflips and shoot nazis in the head at the same time should play Quake 3 or something"

Also I have an inexplicable need to play Vice City but seeing as I dont have 200 something bux EVER to blow Im gonna have to cull some classic games....sigh. OH well Its worth it for the chance to run people down with cars and gun down cops..also That Vice City game might be fun too.

Don't blame me if I'm years behind! I'm just happy to see Shen Mue finally hit a cheaper price. Of course, there still has to be a way to get Grand Theft Auto 3 cheap! 45 chucks a year later! Red Faction 2 is already out and I'm still have yet to pick up the first one. Bah humbug. Guess time will tell.

Well let me see...

Animal Crossing. Looks quirky, hopefully like the Sims.
Wild ARMS 3. I'm a sucker for western themed games.

Oh yeah, I should be getting in that Everquest Online Beta testings soon. I'll tell you all how it is so far. Just started so I'll keep you posted.

Been looking forward to Dragon's Lair 3D ever since I saw it previewed at CGE this year. However, I think it's been pushed back to 2003. Can't get a straight answer anywhere on release dates. *Sigh.*

i already got vice, thps4 and contra for the ps2, so i think im set besides maybe a hockey game and maybe MvC2.

since i have metriod prime on the way already, i suppose i need to get a gc. hmmm, silver or black?

not gonna get an xbox until it gets cheaper.

for gba im gonna get fusion and maybe pinball of the dead.

@butta Xbox is worth the cash, but you really don't need it if you have a PS2. There are too many fantastic games for the PS2. I must say that Halo is worth the Xbox alone. Xbox has yet to come to it's own. Should be a few nice titles soon.

@stark I'm into Steel Battalion, too. I'm a sucker for such stupid controllers that are so limited. That one won't lose value. I hope I motivate to pick it up, though it's tough when there's the PS2 online kit, the Xbox live kit, and so many games you gotta get with them.

It's been a while since I bought anything for my Gamecube. I don't own a PS2 or XBox so I can concentrate on one system, well two including my GBA.

the last GC title I picked up was Madden 2003 and NCAA Football 2003 so I'm in desparate need of some new games. Game on top of my list:

Ok, i think i�m the only one who have the unique idea to buy classic games this season, for example: Atari 2600 carts, N.E.S. carts, Coleco carts, an Atari Jaguar machine and a new room for all my carts, because there are no place. :-)

I was thinking the same thing! I'm hopefully trying to pick up a colecovision, more coleco games, more 2600 games and trying to finish of my NES and intellivision collections. :)

Also - I'd like to pick up a Sega Master System and some more gams for that system.

Oh, and not to forget, I'd like to pick up Tony Hawk 4 for ps2. I'll admit, I'm addicted to these damn Tony Hawk games. argh.

I picked up the last of the next gen systems (Xbox) with the bundle and TJE3 and Shenmue 2. I also ordered Steel Batallion. I can't wait until they ship it.

The only new game I'm going to buy is GTA Vice City. I hope to pick it up next week.
