Disgaea reprint hits shelves on May 25th

My apologies if this was mentioned earlier, but I just got a press release today, so I thought I'd share the info: Atlus is shipping a second run of Disgaea to retail on the 25th. There are no packaging or gameplay differences between the first and second runs, according to Atlus's PR person.

In addition, DoubleJump Publishing is shipping a second edition of the Disgaea strategy guide (to which I contributed a teeny-tiny amount of text).

Good news for people that still haven't tracked this game down :)

But I thought it had been reprinted once already, I remember people complaining that they couldn't find it anywhere, yet I always found a copy wherever I went. Maybe I just had good luck :D

I'd like to grab that guide tho, thanks for the heads up :)

Get this game if you haven't already, I'm a tactical RPG fanatic and this is one of the best I've played. Plus, I love any game where you can make and name the characters.

I noticed that stores like Circut City and Best Buy tended to not sell the stock they had, while game specfic retailers would sell out.

At least in my area. But yeah it's nice more people are getting a chance to play the game. (:

I got the second print of the guide online two weeks ago, thank goodness they re-issued the guide; the first print-run of the guide was much harder to find for a reasonable price than the game itself; (of course I came across the guide by accident in a used book store for $5 AFTER I got the new edition :) I bought it for a friend)

Now, if I could only get your Lunar 2 guide like that...I'd be a happy camper :) (I got the Lunar 1 guide, though)

The new Disagea guide has been out for about a month now, and DJB already has a backlog.

I got mine 2 days after it launched....one of the best guides out there be sure to grab one before it dissappears like the first. I'm already regretting not ordering 2.
