I got this joystick new for about $30 and i havent tried it out yet. It will connect to XBOX, PS2, Psone, and GC. I got it for the Neo Geo ports that are coming out in the near future mainly but i figure there will be some more games that i will use it for. I havent opened it yet and still have the receipt so if anyone knows that its a real dud let me know and i might return it.

From what I've seen, there are two different versions of the Real Arcade Joystick: older ones that that have VERY tight joysticks & buttons, and newer ones that don't have tight joysticks and buttons. Unfortunately, I have one of the tight joysticks, so I don't use it as much as I'd like but it is a very sturdy and excellent controller. Someday I plan on picking up another stick with looser controls though.

I have one, it's pretty good. Has some good weight, although if you want a better arcade experience, you'll probably have to replace the buttons and stick, as the buttons seem to be raised up a bit high, and the stick, at least on all that I've used, feels very loose. Since they use arcade compatible parts, as I hear, it's not too difficult to get replacements.

A good stick, but linke Nork said, is either too tight or too loose. Make sure you get the Universal one. It might be $10 more than the system spefici ones, but it will save you headaches down the road. Works pretty well for fighting games, not too good with Namco Museum. The 8-way stick makes it a bit tough to play games that were designed with a 4- way one in mind.

I used it for my MAME setup for a couple months and I thought it was a great stick. Had to give it up when I got my Slik Stick though. 8-)

Hey, do you want to swap joysticks (not the entire RA, just the joystick part)? My RA joystick is pretty tight but I'd like to have a loose one instead. I opened mine up and the parts are pretty easy to add/remove.

If you come to the meet, I'll see about cramming mine into bizounce's trunk :P
