Yeah, I was surprised too! Unfortunately it was the only one they had. I'm gonna check out some of the other Targets in town to see if there are any more though. If I find any, I'll let you know.

I hit up 6 garage sales today and got a few to go to tomorrow thoug I will prolly just skate all day and forget but I'll try.
Anyways after school I went to goodwill, nothing. Then to a few garage sales. At one the lady asked if I was looking for anything in particular, I said, "do you have any old video game stuff?". The said no. Then the other lady there said, "I accidently just got a box off sega stuff from a freind because she thought my kids were younger, plus my basement is full of sega stuff from when my kids were littler and bought so many games, just give me your phone number and I will call you and give them to you unless my sons still want them for some reason". So I gave her my number and I hope she calls! WEll I got a couple things from other garage sales:

Donkey Kong JR game and watch- .50 (mint, no scratches or anything, but no box)
Radioshack plane and tank battle in box with instructions- .25(I thought it was a game and watch when I got it but didnt look at it until after I got home)
Maniac Mansion 2 game with cardboard case-.25
Twisted Metal 3 toys r us test drive game for ps -.25

Went to a few garage sales today, and found absolutely nothing, except for...

NEO GEO AES:

NAM-1975-complete-$2
Top Player's Golf-complete-$2

No system, though. The woman running it said she got them from her brother in law, or something like that. Still, such a find in the wild deserves nothing less than the sunglass wearing emoticon. 8-)

Got a Sega Pico (never had seen one before), along with the power supply, a set of AV cables for it, and 4 games - $1.

Sadly, it appears DOA - turn it on and the display flickers briefly, but no sound or picture occurs. I tried swapping the AC Adapter with another identical AC Adapter I got with a dead Game Gear - they may both be bad, or the Pico may be toast. I haven't tested the AC Adapter yet. Also, if I get the thing to work I'll wory abou tit then, but the unit appears to be missing a handle. It looks like it was supposed to have a carry handle, but the handle is missing.

All in all though, worst case is for $1 I got a mono AV cable, so I'm not complaining.

Nothing to write home about but I got:

10 yard fight, Pinbal and Baseball all for buck.

I got me a Sega Genesis with 2 Controls, the cables, Lion King, Sonic 2, Ms. Pac-Man, Power Rangers, Mickey Mouse Castle of Illusion, and The Arcade Stick for 15 bucks. Only bad thing is the Joystick will not work when you want the character to go down. Anyone know how to fix?

SNES: Street Fighter 2.99 at Goodwill

Also, while at Gamestop some kid wanted to trade in Super Puzzle Fighter for the PS and they would only give him 5 bucks in trade in. He wanted cash so I told him I'd give me 4 bucks. I love Puzzle Fighter. :D

((reposted here))

wow. first time I ever started a topic. guess I'd display my finds this weekend...

ANYWAYS, some guy had a green bin full of Atari Junk, he wanted to get rid of it for 25 bucks..heres what I got...

2 Systems! Both need a little exterior cleaning and slot cleaning though.

-Atari 2600 "Darth Vader Model".
It has a sound problem... but video works fine.

-Atari 2600 Jr.
Works fine!

Accessories

A pair of Gemni Paddle/Tennis Controllers. - Work.

A Joystick - Classic Style. missing the plastic that fits over the stick. but it works otherwise

A Wireless Joystick - But not the base needed for it. Rubber antenna one.

and some other various scarretd RCA plugs/wires a Light of some sort,.. a few misc power cords..non-atari related

Edit: Alright. I knew this light looked way too familar mentioned in the bottom. it's a red light to an Action Max.

Games - All are un boxed. and somewhat dusty. but they all work.

Atlantis
Tax Avoiders
Solar Fox
Space Invaders
Star Wars: Jedi Arena
Combat
Missle Command
Donkey Kong
Laser Blast
Warlords
Asteroids
Atari Video Cube
Joust
Centipide
StarMaster
Breakout
Pac-Man
Canyon Bomber

So for 25 bucks for two systems... some accessories and a load of games... I think I got an okay deal.

damn good find on the star fox superweekend. Anyone know if there has been any amazing finds in oregon?

nesman? y-bot? evilmess? digitalspace? kevincure?maxlords (you used to live here right?) You guys ever find any R9s in oregon? or are they yet to be discovered....

Anyways... went to a local gaming store that had a copy of King Neptune's Adventure (blue cart) mint with box (but copied instructions  ). it had been sitting there nearly a year for 39.99... i offered 20 bucks. the guy knows I collect nes so he cut me a deal. Figured it wasn't bad as I haven't seen one on ebay in quite some time..

Also got at a pawn
Crystalis -$3
Contra - $3
Fox College Hoops (n64 Complete) - $1

and I helped a friend clean some NES stuff so he could sell... he hooked me up with:

Wall Street Kid
Bards Tale
Trolls on Treasure Island
Challenge of the Dragon (colordreams one, blue cart, not black)

Also bought from him
North and South w/ mint box for 10 bucks and Castlevania IV Minty in box for 4 bucks.

Forgot to mention the Phantasy Star 3 for my wife I won on Ebay last night for $3.54 total w/ shipping (game, box but no instructions)

I found the Starfox Super Weekend cart in Avondale which is just west of Phoenix.

I dont go hunting in Tucson. ( not with gas prices where there at :o )

I normally go as far as east as Mesa ;)

I found Suikoden and Einhander in Peoria :D

Great weekend for me 8-)

Thanks. Its not as great as a stadium events , but its my first R9 find in the wild :D

You live on the west side Hellvin ?

Me , Tynstar and Jagdiesel were thinking of an Arizona DP meet later this year. (possibly early next year at the latest)

I have noticed alot of new Arizona dp members lately. I think thats awesome !

An AZ meet would be cool. As I have posted in other threads, I am 90% sure I passed up a Starfox weekend cart at a Funco a couple years ago, because I didn't know what the label looked like. Maybe it was the one you found. Lucky bastard. ;)

Felix is worth about 8 bucks, adventures of lolo 2, about 10 bucks, and mario 3 about 3 bucks. So try paying like 5 bucks total or maybe 1.50 for mario 3, felix for 3, and adventures of lolo 2 for 3.

I would say it's pretty damn great.

But yeah, an AZ meet sounds like quite a fun idea. Wouldn't mind meeting up with some of the other AZ dper's out there.

damn good find on the star fox superweekend. Anyone know if there has been any amazing finds in oregon?

nesman? y-bot? evilmess? digitalspace? kevincure?maxlords (you used to live here right?) You guys ever find any R9s in oregon? or are they yet to be discovered....

No R9's, but I've come across a couple of SNES R8's. I found a loose Zero The Kamikaze Squirrel at a CD/Game Exchange for $5 in April, and a loose Fun 'N Games at a Software Etc. for $9.99 in February. I recently traded the Fun 'N Games (and in case anybody's wondering why, scroll down to my post here (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=35318)).

So no R9's, but still something. Would like to find a DKC comp cart or Starfox SWC cart someday, though.
