I dislike breaking up the happy flow of events through this forum, but I've decided that having waited two months just to get an email from this fellow - who's had my money since early August 2K3, and more yet since November (the infamous "Ed's got an x68K" purchase, also known as "what it feels like to have 1/2 of your import collection never show up").
Here (http://gametz.com/?S=11244556&A=Forum&area=Site_Feedback&topic=158346#new) I detail, not too coherently, a bit more information.
A thing I suppose I'll clear up later there: He indicated he's a serviceman in the Navy stationed in Japan; but being on a ship doesn't mean he won't be able to read email - he said in one email that he had only a little amount of time to check emails while at sea.
I'm also wondering if it's possible he cannot disclose his whereabouts while at sea, and is perhaps unable to respond while on duty. (I did make sure in this last email to ask if he's aware he has an obligation to send these items out "as soon as he could.") How long would one be at sea at one time, roughly speaking?
I'm still considering the possibility that this is an error without malicious intent and that somehow I fell through the cracks (for what it's worth, I sent an email to importanime@yahoo.com and it didn't bounce). However I'm about to start calling folks; with every day that goes by there's another day that might have been wasted in busting a criminal.
I do have his name under PayPal; I'm going to go see if I've got his address on any boxes I kept; though it's apparently not current any longer it should help.
