I've been thinking about getting my wife one of those dance mat controllers and a game or two for Christmas.
I was leaning towards Britney's Dance Beat and the DDR Disney Mix.
I know theres another DDR game for PS1 and DDRMAX is out soon for PS2.
What's good? What else is there? I've heard the Jungle Book one sucks. Do these provide a good aerobic workout? (she's growing weary of Billy Blanks and Denise Austin)
thanks!

DDR Disney is the better game.

If you can wait for DDRMAX, that's your best bet - it has all the grooves from the earlier games plus new stuff. 8)

I picked up the pad and DDR Konamix recently and it seems pretty good (DDR Konamix). I'm not sure Britney's Dance Beat would work well with the dance pad or not. DDR seems totally meant for it IMO.
As to if it's a workout: I haven't tried it myself, but my wife has and she has said that you do get a good workout using it. Especially once you can bring your level of play up from the beginning stages.

yea, for workout music, you basically need hard-hitting euro-dance music.... nothing else does the job really. Search around on iTunes for "euro club hits" or check this link::dance::smash::sob::pimp:
