Can anyone tell me which Intellivision games were released in Europe? (or point me to a suitable resource?)

I picked up a console (+ Golf) a couple of weeks back, and from what I've read since, the Inty 2 & 3 were never released over here, so I assume that several of the later games never made it either.

I know that all US/Canadian games will play perfectly well, since only the console itself is PAL/NTSC specific, but it would be nice to know which games were originally sold over here (and I'd imagine that Euro games would have different packaging with multiple languages).

Ta!

I think most or all of the Mattel brand (before being sold to Intellivision, Inc) were sold in Europe. They usually have slots in the back of the box for multilingual instruction manuals. Coleco brand games were released by CBS with different cartridge cases. Parker Bros. probably released all their games plus Super Cobra and Tutankham were Europe only. Imagic had games with mulitlingual text on the cart labels I think. I doubt anything that was released after '83/'84 made it out of the US.

The Intellivision model III was definately released in Europe as I have one myself. It says PAL ~50hz 220 volt on the back and all. In Sweden Bergsala (Nintendo’s distributor over here) took over the distribution of the Intellivision in 1985. Those games came with a sheet of paper with the instructions in Swedish.

BTW Bergsala also sold the Vectrex here (they got them from an old stock). They sold these consols while waiting for the NES. Bergsala wanted to release the Famicom here back in 1984 but Nintendo didnt agree with them at the time.
