Dunno if this has been posted before, but I was wondering what everyone's first DS game will be. If you are getting 3 or 4 at once, then what game are you wanting the most? Personally, mine would be Animal Crossing DS, hands down. My second would be Egg Monster Hero, and third would probably be between Metriod Prime, Gundam Seed, or Wario Ware.

MP:H for me, though I might get into that Koei game - sounds cool.
I'll have to get some of the Mario stuff somewhere along the way. Super Mario 64 was AWESOME back in the day, and I still like the combination of graphics and free play control more than Yoshi's Island. So there might be a split. I'd say Metroid as a gut reaction, but I'd say Super Mario 64 is going to be right there.
Really, the system has more great looking titles (that will be fun) going for it than I feel the GC has today. :P

at launch, if they are available, i would like to get Animal Crossing, Super Mario Bros., Wario Ware Inc., Metroid Prime: Hunters, and Mario Kart.
out of those, my top choice will be Super Mario Bros. since I always liked to start a new Nintendo system out with a Mario game.

The Mario, Zelda & Metroid presence on this system better be incredible. As much of a Nintendo fanboy as I am, right now the PSP is looking more appealing with Metal Gear Ac!d & Wipeout Pure (oooooooh wipeout.. droool)
The system seems AWESOME, but I can't just go buying both, I simply don't have the time or space in my sachel to carry 2 game systems!

I'm REALLY impressed with the footage I've seen of Mario Kart, and I love the game on my Game Boy Advance, so I'm gonna have to go with that.

Me too, but I most likely won't have the cash to blow on so many games. So I'll stick with tradition and get the SMB as my first DS title.
I want one of these things badly... :D

Hey Lone_Monster,
You need to add Super Mario 64x4 to the poll! :D

I plan on getting just about all the games for it, but the ones I will pick up no matter the price will be: (In order of wanting the most, but again, will be buying all of them on their launch days)
Mario Kart DS
SMB DS
Super Mario 64x4
Sonic DS
Metroid Hunters
In the poll, my vote went to Mario Kart DS which just barely beat out SMB DS for my vote.

WhenI do get the DS, SMB will be the first. And whatever else I can afford. But probably only one to start.
I hope SMB is a launch title.
I really just want a final price and date for both the system and games.
How uch will games cost? Hopefully not more than $30.
I think DS games should be $30. GBA games $20. Cube games $50... well, $40, but let's be realistic. If DS games are $30, it seems like overpricing to make GBA games $30 as well. So $20 for GBA games would be sufficient.

Pac 'N Roll (which basically uses the touch-screen as a Trak-Ball) was the DS game I enjoyed most at E3, but I am a sucker for all things Pac.

I have been wondering how much the games will cost too. Considering GBA games are 25-35 brand new when released, hopefully they will go down in price once the DS hits. I just paid 34.99 for Mario Vs. Donkey Kong and of course was well worth it, but was still alot. I don't complain paying $50 for a GC mario title, but the prices on GBA are a little high. If they were like $10 cheaper, my library of GBA games would probably be about 20-30 games more. I just don't have enough money too get everything, but try!
Anyways, I think DS games will be around $35-40. Which would be a reasonable price I guess considering the innovation and creativity involved. It's not like it will only take a couple weeks too make up the games. But who knows, they might only be $25-30, but HIGHLY doubt it.

haven't heard much of balloon trip...is it a remake of balloon fight? That's mainly why I picked it =)

Where did you buy it? It's $30 at Kmart and on sale for $26.99 this week. You overpaid.
Though, no biggie. I paid $35 for SMB3 when I couldn't find it anywhere. And as soon as I bought it, my store got it in for $30. Also, now everyone has it. (This was not at SMB3 launch.)
If they were like $10 cheaper, my library of GBA games would probably be about 20-30 games more. I just don't have enough money too get everything, but try!Ditto that. $20 is a great price. And it feels right. $30, I have to save for what I really want. All the rest can sit on the shelf for all I care. I'll grab it when it hits $20. So may as well make it all $20.
