Well out of the two, Halo 2 looks like the better game....

But Geist (Gamecube) would be my most anticipated FPS game this year, followed by Time Splitters 3 (Gamecube).

LOL ...wrong(IMO)... most anticipated are Doom 3, Half-Life 2, and Halo 2

Lets us all vote on something that we are just first seeing the first true gameplay footage from, and these sed games are what 6 months away.

Come on with these really bad opinion polls about shit only superfanboys are capable of arguing about and still be wrong.

STOP!

Based solely on what both companies have revealed, I'd like to know what Killzone is bringing to the table that Halo 2, or indeed, Halo, didn't.

I'll admit I'm a big Xbox user, and played through Halo several times, but I was really looking forward to Killzone.

I don't think the Killzone/Halo 2 comparison is accurate, as Killzone should really be targeted at the first Halo. Even still, what I saw at E3 was rather disappointing. It just wasn't living up to the videos at early screen shots that were all other the internet for Killzone. Killzone looked flat, animations were a little choppy, typical PS2 texture issues, and the muted tones seemed to be used more to hide problems than for an emotional effect.

Sure, it is in beta phase still, and the Halo showing at E3 2001 wasn't impressive (due to underpowered demo equipment), but I still expected more. I hope they can pull it off.

Is there really a choice with the third option?

Who am I kidding, though...I like FPS games too.

Haven't seen much of anything about Killzone, but the name is stupid.

Halo 2...mmm...they should have a Durandal tie-in there. (Story still sucks compared to the old Mac Bungie titles...and why isn't there a "Kill the Guy with the Skull" mode?)
