Wicked looking case. I can only hope the game will be half as 'polished,' hehe.
There's a link at the bottom to see "his own mods" - one's a Lego PC. Pretty nifty, though personally I would've liked those mid-nineties space themed blocks (Alienware meets Lego).
I wonder what folks will do with their Phantoms? Hmm.

That's very impressive. Wonder how long all that shit took him though.

Considering how long it'd take me just to do the pictures and upload them...a darned long time LOL

Wow! That's some amazing attention to detail. And I wonder if that's a real coolant system he has or if the glowing green liquid's just for show.
Love the keyboard and mouse as well.

Wow. That looks cool...even if i wouldnt F up my mouse and keyboard like that.
That keybored and mouse dont look comforable. After a long day of gaming i'd pry start to chafe you wrists. Case looks neat though.

While I thought that that HL2 mod was cool looking and very well done, there's nothing that could top the Lego PC on the other page. Clicking on the link contained in the page took me to another page of case mods. Do check it out for a laugh.

Only thing I don't like is the EMI mesh (I HATE the look of EMI mesh on any case)
And, the mouse looks like it would be damned uncomfortable, and the keyboard could use a little touch up.
Of course, the rest of it is a damned work of art, so don't think I'm complaining or anything :)

Yep, he installed a watercooling system. :) There are dyes you can purchase to put in the water to make it glow like that.
He did an excellent job!

Yes very cool indeed. Did anyone check out his case made of wood and plexi? Pretty cool too, along with others on that site.

Boy, for this guy's sake, I really hope Half-Life 2 actually turns out to be good. He'd certainly feel like an idiot if the game ends up bombing... after all, no one does Daikatana case mods.
What are the four dials for? :?

Possibly Alienware-style volume controls; they afffect something, not exactly sure what.
The mouse looks uncomfortable but probably just feels a bit bumpy. Though I'm used to optical mice, I'm not unused to using wierd ones and I'm sure I could use a rough block of wood as a mouse just fine LOL
I think the Lego one has some nice details, but doesn't look like what I'd make. Does look like most projects with Legos in them :D
