I just read a FAQ about switching between the two modes but it says I need to hold down the buttons on the mouse when it't in controller port 2. That's all fine and dandy, but I don't have a mouse. Is there any other way to swtich this??

Not sure if there's another way, but I've got a spare (3rd party) Amiga mouse that I'll send your way for the cost of postage [say $4, assuming you're in the US?], if you want?

Yeah, that would be awesome. @_@ It'll work on the CD32? Send me a PM when you get the chance and we can get this deal going!

Why do you need to? If you have an NTSC console and an NTSC TV or a monitor you shouldn't have to.

If it's anything like a normal Amiga computer (which it is... the CD32 is essentially an Amiga 1200 with a CD-Rom drive, a better controller, and no keyboard), then playing PAL games while in NTSC mode will result in some goofy timing issues that often cause graphic glitches... and of course, you'll lose some of the picture off the bottom of the screen. I don't think I've ever tried playing NTSC games in PAL mode, but I imagine you'd also get some timing issues, and you'd end up with a crushed picture.
At least, that's what happens on my Amiga 1200.

Exactly, the last lines of the screen are cut off if playing a PAL CD32 game on a NTSC CD32. In some rare instances, the game will *only* work on a PAL TV or a monitor that can support it (1084/S/D/SD). Super Stardust has this problem.
