Hello everybody,

Im new to this and this is my first post. I have the rare version of Sonic Adventure limited edition that was debuted at the Hollywood video chain before the Dreamcast came out and I don't want to set a price on it to seem to high , but if your interested in buying it off me post your price for it, and if I like the amount then I ll sell it to that person. I ll take a picture of it and put it up this friday. Thanks........

This is not that rare. There's a post about it in the main forum... pretty common.

Actually the LE is pretty damn rare. If it wasn't, it wouldn't be marked as a R7 in the rarity lists. 8-)

Does it have the manual?

Are you looking for any trades?

Price wise, it's worth ~35-50$ complete MAX. (from what it's been selling on eBay for the last little while anyways).

dj898: different things... you're talking about the anniversary edition that was import only...

the domestic sonic LE was released to hollywood video stores ONLY prior to launch of DC to promote the DC launch. not very common, and even less so with it's spine card and manual, as those were tossed by most places.

No, that is the Sonic Adventure 2 Bithday pack. The Sonic LE is the first one that was released at Hollywood video before the DC & regular game was released in the states.

Its only the cd. I bought it awhile back from Gamecrazy, and it had no manual or anything. Im pretty sure it's even harder to find it complete like that.

Another set of questions, as I may be looking to replace mine.

What condition is the disc itself in (scratches)?

Does it have any sort of seal on the disc itself (like those crappy clear labels BBV and Hollywood put on their discs)?

And again, are you willing to trade? I've got a crap load of NES, INTV, Genny, SNES, Dreamcast, Saturn, and Sega CD games I wouldn't mind trading out.

Disc only it seems to go around $20 Complete the highest I have seen it go is $38 on Ebay

*snicker*...I like how the first auction says it comes with no manual...as I'm staring at my Sonic LE manual. Rant for another forum though. I'm not sure the if game had a spinecard or not, but if it did and you have one that would significantly increase the value. I know that a lot of Hollywood Videos threw out the manuals since they rented the game out.

*snicker* Actually, I bought the first one. I saw the thing about the manual too, but why would it have a back insert and not a manual? :D

But the disc is in great shape (only two minor scratches),and it was an alright deal for $20. If easily possible, I'd prefer one without the stupid seal though. :)

At least you knew better when you bid. :) I was sniggering more at the seller, but maybe they just didn't know that the game does in fact have a manual available. I'm by no means an expert but I think you got a good deal. About a month ago the LE's were going for much higher, around $38*. My game has a clean CD (no seal) but the manual is missing the back cover. I've yet to see what I'd consider even a "very good" condition CD/manual pair.

*EDIT: $38 it is then! :P

I have never seen this game get higher then $38 including months ago:
