All the bidders had less than 10 feedbacks. Hard way to learn to read the entire item description. :o

Actually, it's very clear in the description that it's just the cheats. Why don't people just read the description? I mean, look at all his negative feedbacks saying "I thought it was the game, all I got were some cheats"!

And why don't people just go online and finds tons of cheats for free? x_x :hmm:

Indeed it is very clear, If they don't read the discriptions then they bring the disapointment upon themself.

I think both the bidder and seller are idiots.

The seller should be dragged out and shot for SELLING cheats that you can find for FREE, and mentioning in small print in the descrption that it's just cheats.

The budder just learned a hard lesson that there are many dirtbag sellers on EBay and you need to VERY CAREFULLY read EVERYTHING in the auction and ask by e-mail if you have questions.

I wish Ebay could do something to crack down on sellers like that, but I suspose the bidder has to learn the hard way eventuly. :o

God damn, I had a good laugh at that one. I swear though, I have to hand it to the guy being able to pull off shit like that and have people fall for it. I agree that something should be done about ebayers like this, some kind of appeal or something so you don't get stuck paying 27 dollars to have him send gamefaqs to you. What bullshit.

Just think of they deal that they got for the codes, i mean 17 codes for 23 bucks and thats only 1.35 a code. Man thats just money well spent for cheating.

How can you miss that it's just the cheats? Why would anyone fall for that? It doesn't say anything about being the actual game...I know that some people don't read whole descriptions, but this one is like three lines, clearly stating that it is only for 17 cheats. x_x

I will E-mail the cheats to you to save us both time and money.

Ahem...also so I can quickly scam others and not have to pay .37 for a stamp.

OK this seller is a scumbag and everything for not mentioning in the auction title that it was only the cheats that were for sale, but I blame this solely on the bidder(s). He obviously did not read the description AT ALL. The description is only 2 lines and all it talks about is the fact that the deal is for cheats only. If the bidder had bothered to even look over the description he would have seen that. It isnt in fine print at the bottom of the page or anything, it is at the top, front and center. Yes the seller is shady, but the buyer is a fucking idiot. I don't care if he is a newb, he shouldnt be bidding on shit without reading the damned page first. I would think that a newb would be more careful to read the auction than anyone because he isnt used to dealing with eBay. But thats just my opinion.

2 lines actually, vs 8 lines describing the actual game, combined with the auction title...

AND the winning bidder only started bidding in the last 20ish mins so who knows. I hope the bidder realizes that they are just cheats and stiffs the seller. I dont usually encourage NPB's but in this case im making an exception. Anyone that sells cheats should be shot.

AND looking at theyre feedback this is the 2nd time they have listed those cheats with exactly the same title/description. Infact, now that i look closer almost half first page of feedback from NFS:U cheats @_@

I didn't see any small print. The guy clearly said that he was only selling game hints in clear language and in a normal sized font. In fact, he didn't even hide it in large paragraphs of text. I blame the buyers for not paying the least bit of attention and for not reading what it is that they bid on.

Oh please, if he charged shipping to mail them you'd slam him for not sending it by email.

This auction is clearly misleading. If the auction is for a strategy guide why are there pictures of the actual game? The seller puts a quick disclaimer in the middle of the auction description saying that only cheats are for sale. He includes the UPC code, platform, publisher and rating for the game. He also goes into a description of the game features:

Additional Information about Need For Speed: Underground

Special Features
New twenty fully upgradeable, licensed cars are added in the game from Mitsubishi Motors, Subaru, Toyota, and many more. Street Racing: Heat up the cold city streets with some high octane, high speed racing, explore the fastest lines through a various kind of open city racecourses. Again, why talk about the game when all that is being sold is cheats? I think it would be very easy for a buyer to back out of this auction because it is so misleading. Should the buyer read the whole description before bidding? Of course, but anyone can make this kind of mistake. I would prefer that this seller gets removed from ebay. Perhaps we could all report this guy to ebay for deceptive selling practices as well as copyright infringement? He has no legal right to sell a cheat guide to NFS.

That's kinda what I thought.

An old person, new to EBay and very trusting, just doing a quick buy on something for someone else.

At least he did'nt pay for the item and added another black mark on the sellers feedback, and richly deserved also! :)

The buyer can always close the account and start a new one to be back to 0 anyway. 8-)

An old man with the eBay ID "AlienBomberMan"??? I don't think so. The whole "grandson" spiel sounds like an attempt to get extra sympathy to me. In any case though that seller is a scumbag.

God I cant belive how many people won those cheats. The sadist thing if you ask me were the people who were happy about wining the cheats.

How about the buyer "aaren2004" who won the same auction twice? And left positive feedback for both? What was he thinking, that the codes were only good once and he had to buy them again? Morons! LOL

At least he appears to refund the money if you are idiot enough to think its a game you are paying for.
