I'm new to Need For Speed Underground...

I just unlocked extra neon light, but I can't seen to customize any of the cars with them outside "Go Underground". I have a feeling that when I get extra bumbers, hoods, etc, I won't be able to customize my cars with them. Later on in the game, do I unlock a feature that allows me to customize the car with such things? -Thankz-

I _believe_ that stuff you unlock "Underground" is only good to use while in the "Underground" mode. I don't think you can use your customizations "outside."

I played this game for a couple days straight, and got pretty good at it. I got up to the 85th race Underground. Then, I stopped playing for a couple of weeks. Now, I can't drive for $h!t. I gotta practice more!

That is correct to a degree. If you purchase the item, you should be able to use it outside of the mode. Unlocking the item just makes it available for purchase.

Ahh, so in order for the item to be used outside of "Go Underground", you gotta purchased them first. I never thought of that. Damn, that means I gotta buy all the new neon lights now. Thank god they are only $100 each (I think). I know you can use your customized car in "Go Underground" when playing a Quick Race or Split Screen, it'z the last car in the car selection. Thankz for the help guyz. :D
