Sega Genesis Game Carts Not Working HELP !!

I picked up 2 used genesis carts , which I have never played before.

BUDOKAN and ZANY GOLF

I cannot get them to work. I tried cleaning the carts and still no luck. Does anyone have any good tips for getting old genesis games working? I find it hard to believe both carts are DOA.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

those are actually 2 of the early EA games that only work on the earliest genesis consoles. if you have a game genie, you could try playing them through that...

I've heard they will work when plugged into a 32x as well.
