Hi, first of all if there is already a list of Super Cassette Vision games in english please point me to it. The best I have found is this from The Video Game Consoles F.A.Q.:
* Super Cassette Vision - Epoch/Yeno - 1984 - Japan/Europe
---------------------
Games:
* N.01 - Astro Wars
* N.29 - Sky Kid
* N.?? - Pole Position II
* N.?? - Doeramon
* N.?? - Mappy
* N.?? - Boulder Dash
* N.?? - Dragon Slayer
* N.?? - Lupin III
* N.?? - Elevator Fight
There are 30 games that have came out but i don't understand Japanese,
here's a link to the list of all 30 games. If someone can translate the
list, plese send it to us so we can add it in the FAQ, Thanks!

Have you been to this page?
http://aizuma.hp.infoseek.co.jp/scv/scv.htm
It's Japanese, but if you put your cursor over the game pictures you can see the English names with the alt text.
I can see a couple there you're missing from your list:
Dragonball (yes, this is based on the original anime/manga preceding DBZ)
Soccer
Pro Wrestling (proresu)
Kung Fu (I think this is different from Irem's Kung Fu/Spartan X)
Syogi
Mahjong (I think these two games are on EVERY Japanese console ever in some form)
Golf
At least one baseball game
I don't really know much about the system beyond that. I hope that helps a bit.

Ok, big help to you.

Babel Fish is a Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy book series... (now in filming :) ) but you can put the link to the site there, and it'll translate japanese to english. Its helped me many many times in the past.

@slownerveaction-I hadn't seen that website. That looks like all of them if there is supposed to be 30 games (there are 31 pictured but I think BASIC may not be included in the 30).
"It's Japanese, but if you put your cursor over the game pictures you can see the English names with the alt text."
I have a Mac, that sounds like something that works on a PC
@macabre26-I have tried that translator but it doesn't work for me. I'm not sure if my computer isn't able to show Japanese characters or what but when I copy and paste it becomes junk.
Thanks for the help. If someone else has some free time maybe they could translate the names for me.
Thanks, y-bot

No, it should work on either, or at least it should be visible in the HTML source.

It may not give a "good" translation either...

One of the systems I'd always meant to add to the DPCG... Send me an email reminder, and I can try to help out with what I know later. I can read a little Japanese, and my dictionary can help me read more.

Lupin the 3rd AND Doraemon? How old IS Doraemon anyways? O:

@GaijinPunch-thank you so much for translating those names.
@Ed Oscuro-I don't know how old Doraemon is but I don't think he is even from this century. He's from the 23rd century or something like that. Seriously though I think Lupin III and Doraemon are from the early 80's. I know the laserdisc arcade game Cliff Hanger (from '83 or so) is Lupin III.

Lupin's from the late '70s, actually.

Technically, the Lupin character is based on a series of books from the early 20th century featuring Arsene Lupin, the world's greatest thief! Lupin III is supposed to be his decendent. :)
Props to GaijinPunch for translating. I definitely did not feel like doing my slow-poke translating thing.

For the super cassette vision there should be the "Basic" cart listed in demos samplers and non games,
for the cassettevision The rumor mill listing for Grand Champion, the game is probably cart no. 10, the part numbers go up to 12 and there is only 11 games and number 10 is missing, making it more than likely number 10.

"Probably" doesn't cut it, I'm afraid! I'm going to leave that empty until someone can confirm. There's no hurry to get this info - it will come in due time :)

Joe you don't need to make that concrete evidence, I have noticed "maybe called this, or maybe this part no." in other rumor mill listings, so I thought maybe listing it in that aspect may be of some help for someone who may want to investigate that in the future. Either way, it's your call.

Oh I see what you mean. Sure, I can "speculate" in the game's description. I'm going to leave the actual part number field blank. Thanks!

Thanks Joe. I will try to be a little more percise in my posts from now on to save you from the headache.

I know I've heard that Grand Champion is #10 (and in fact I think I've said as much in these forums before (?)), but I can't recall if I ran across that tidbit online, or if I was following the logical conclusion as well. I will try to do a little research...
