So I went driving down route 1 today looking for games. First, I found this:

So far, so good. I don't really want to put it on ebay, I'd rather trade it for common complete VCS games. Let me know if you're interested!

Anyway, hit the next thrift, I came to this:

Then a couple of pawn shops, nothing. On my way home, I swing by my favorite thrift...and find this.

Still sealed, but hardly a great find. On my way out, though, I find this...

It's here, btw. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8108802495

Yes, it's sealed. T'was a good day. Then, I got to talk to John Flansburgh of They Might Be Giants.

A good day indeed.

EDIT: John F. was not, in fact, in my favorite thrift. TMBG played a free show in Baltimore tonight. It was great!

I, for one, find it freaky that there were two people named John who look similarily alike... X_x :P

Good finds, by the way! I would love to have some of those joystick controllers for my Master System.

I picked up a Maniac Mansion about a month ago and then sold it on Ebay - it is worth good $$. You will most likely sell to Europe.

P.S. I checked and you are selling to U.S. only - big mistake in my opinion, but it is your call.

Take care,
RG

I'm weeping that you got to meet Flansburgh.

Nice finds! I've never seen SMS controllers like that. My controls don't have joysticks, and the up button of both d-pads is broken...Maybe that type of controller is better? I don't know...

Thanks for the tip on worldwide shipping. I already got an email from somebody in Norway about it.

Just a word of advice to anyone selling older PC games on ebay, ALWAYS ship worldwide. It's common for us to find Ultima games and stuff like Maniac Mansion, but overseas, their only resort is ebay. I sold about 20 games last summer, and only 2 or 3 US bidders won. I sold a Maniac Mansion for $85 to a guy in Germany. I sold a few Ultima games that normally go for $20 for $50+ just becuase I would ship to South Korea. Why not ship worlwide anyway? It's not like a tiny little customs form is the end of the world right?
