Today is D-DAY for the DP Advance Team, the final day for section updates, intros, and research. Over the past eight months we've been on a pretty rigorous schedule to properly document, classify, and add "meat" to the game lists DP is best known for, and this team has done an outstanding job with the time and resources. This book is gonna open up a lot of eyes!

I take over starting tomorrow and the first and most important page in this book is the CREDITS.

Many of you here have either assisted with information in our database (providing part numbers, designer names and other minutia), or have contributed screen shots, photos, and scans.

I want to be sure that I leave NO ONE out. If you've contributed, please get in touch with me at digitalpress@emaill.com with your full name (or whatever way you'd like to be listed in the credits page), and remind me of your contribution so you're put into the proper area of those credits.

Alternatively, you can take this moment to do it in this thread instead.

Again, we truly appreciate the collaborative spirit of this Roundtable community. Without you, creating a definitive source for such info would never get done properly! THANK YOU from all of us on the team.

Umm...I donated a single part # for the GBC section. It was for Dragon Warrior Monsters 2: Tara's Adventure. If this warrants a credit, just put me in there as Crush Crawfish. Thanks! :)

I'll plop my thanks here, even though I emailed them to you, just for the hell of it.

FABombJoy, who provided screenshots and information for a number of titles that I didn't have, or have access to.
Reid Swenson, from oldsoftware.com, who gave me some part #s and copyright information for a couple games.
Achika, who provided me with a Vis advertisement page.
Digitalpress himself, who added in some copyrights and part#s himself.
my buddy Derek Brunt, who lent me his scanner to scan boxes.

I think that covers just about everyone.

Well, I see I've been mentioned already .. thanks guys! I would be happy to be 'named and shamed' as a retro collector :D

.. so please list me under my actual name, Joel Lewis. As mentioned above, I have contributed (albeit generally in a fairly minor way) to the PAL Megadrive, Mega CD, 32X, Saturn and Dreamcast sections.

Hey Joe,

I've added a few things to the guide, maybe not in the advance guide, but a few. Does CDi count for the advance guide? If so, I think one or two of these pertains to it.

I contributed a whole bunch of data to the PSX section. My data includes (at the least) significant contributions from Dangerboy (Jason Dvorak) Papastu (Steve Wilcox) and RichD (above).

I contributed PSX and GP32 screenshots. If that warrants taking up space in the credits section, it's "Rob 'Flack' O'Hara"

Yeah, even if you contributed a single part number to a single game, if it's information we used, you deserve credit for it. Take a look at the credits page on any previous version of the Guide and you'll find lots of names. THIS book starts the list anew but our team has had lots of assistance and no one shall go unmentioned. Unless we forget. Which is why this thread is here :)

I'd like to thank Andrew Krieg for the work he's done before I got the reins on the N64 section. Another thanks goes out to Lawrence Lamb for the additional nitty gritty info. And another kudos to those who worked on the N64 screenshots. And thanks of course to Digital Press for the spreadsheet/database work and for any additional work I may not have noticed.

One helluva fun project, something I've never quite done before so I hope y'all like my section.

Ive already PM'ed you, but this is to make sure... ;)

Steve (PapaStu) Wilcox

Or however you decide to do it, that be my name and Screen name, considering how ofter i tend to forget to give at least one of them to you at any given time. LOL

I contributed SLUS#'s and game names, and variant info and what not, besides giving Queen a headache while she worked to compile the nastiest list ever for a game system. PSX. I'm just glad that I could help in some manner.

A bump to make sure no one has been missed.

If I don't have your REAL name this would be a good time to tell it to me. I'd prefer not to use handles in the book. I may have an appendix of handles squashed into a single page (its just one of the things that probably won't make the cut because this thing is just huge).

Do or die!

Do I get a credit for being one of the few NOT involved in the making of this book? :P

I just remembered I helped out with a few Dreamcast and X-box demo discs. If I can still be added, Ricardo Garcia Jr would be fine.

Don't know if it's too late, but I threw a few Jag & DC screenshots your way. I'd get a thrill from seeing my name listed; hope it's not too late.
