Believe it or not, someone bought it.

Yes, because I'm sure the seller actually has $100 million laying around that he feels like blowing on a game that will be available in a few months for $50.

Plus, there's no way that it's real anyway.

Maybe it's just me (and Jerkov), but I don't think that the winning bidder is going to pay...

Note that the disc says RP-M for ratings, indicating that this is a demo disc. Anybody who took 2 seconds to look at the image would have seen this (assuming the first dozen bids or so are real)

I might buy the game for $10. Not a dime more, thats for sure.

lmao...how sad. Too bad he'll never receive his millions. I hate auctions like this, what's the point?

"my job is pretTty hot. peAce out dudes and dudettes."

Yes....ok. But then again it sounds like every idiot who walks into bestbuy that slowly day by day makes me want to stop living life.

"Yo dawg, ya knoz when da psz3s gonz be out?"

No, now stop wearing your hate sideways, stop raping video games and get out of the store.

Um, no. The disc cover is from an early XBM demo disc with a 2 slapped on it. I remember it. The disc looks just like the disc that Best Buy sold with the Halo 2 pack (the one with the controllers and coupon book). That's my guess.

the funniest part is the sellers EBAY ENDING FEES!

hahaha, people think it's all funny to have a joke auction, but they don't think about this.

seriously though how much do you think the ebay ending fee would be on that?

Well you figure that even if it were a million dollars that would only be 1%, so probably more than that. Of course he will file a non-paying bidder claim but he cant do that until a specified amount of time has gone by, so who knows what will happen. I'm sure they arent going to try to charge a million dollars to his credit card...

Provided I did the math right:

$1,500,012.89...plus listing fees.

He'll never get charged that of course. I doubt he even used a real credit card (maybe a disposable one with a $10 limit or something). And even a real card won't be able to hand a charge that big -- I imagine it would just get refused even if ebay tried it.
