I know this is nothing new but its slow on the boards right now so here goes:
Demonds and Diamonds Atari2600 I used to play this game all the freakin time when I was a kid kinda sad huh? :embarrassed:
Pinbot NES I played this game all summer long waay back in the day
Ninja Spirits TURBOGRAPHIX-16 classic ninja gaiden on steroids 8-)
Streetfighter Alpha 2 Saturn arcade perfection baby!
Wipout XL PSone smoooooooooth faaaaaaast! perfect!
Wipout fusion PS2 so I like Wipeout
GALERIANS:ASH PS2 its like Silent Hill except futuristic sci-fi like with long corridors you have to walk around in a few to many times  OK so maybe its not so much like SH but I like it I like it a lot
Tomb Raider:AOD PS2 its really not that bad really I am not a Tomb Raider fan never have been but this game didnt deserve to get persecuted by the press the way it did IMOA
Indiana Jones and the emporers tomb XBOX now this is a really good very underated game if ever I played one!

hey NEZ if you liked the first game on PSOne I would highly suggest that you pick up a copy of Galerians:Ash for PS2 its far beyond the first better fighting system very good graphics and it continues the story directly from the first
:eek 2: Thx I'll have to check it out.

shenmue - pricks with little attention spam badmouth it
Funkenstein

Ring of Red. I admit it's nerve wracking sitting through the same unskipable vanguard animations over and over again, but if you can put up with it, it's a very fun and soundly made tactical rpg.
No One Can Stop Mr. Domino. Weird friggin' game but fun as hell. It's always nice to see a puzzle game that isn't a Tetris/Bust A Move-style where you need to match things up to make them disappear.

Intelligent Qube for PS1...I love that game.
Beach Spikers for GC...a rousing good time.
Wolfenstein 3D for Jaguar (and other systems). I still get a chill when I hear that guy yell "Coming for you!"
Alien Vs. Predator for Jaguar
Bubsy for SNES--Pretty much every other Bubsy game bit the big one but I still think the very first one was terrific.

Crush Crawfish

Spanky's Quest/SNES- One of the best, most unique platformers ever, plus It's got a monkey in it. Yay for monkeys!
Smart Ball/SNES- Another underrated platformer. It's a fun little game, but the soundtrack is amazing!
Monster Party/NES- A really strange platformer that's filled with strange enemies, including a fried shrimp that transforms into an onion ring! LOL
Robopon 2/GBA- Most people would pass it off as another shameless pokemon clone, but it's actually the single greatest Monster-raising game ever, filled with lots of pop culture references. It's also the only game that ever inspired me to write a guide. Which I do plan to finish over the summer.

Star Sweep-PS1
Neo Bomberman-Neo Geo MVS
Fantasy Zone-NES,SMS,TG-16
Joust 2-Arcade-Very rare arcade game, but you can get it on Midway's Arcade Treasures.
What do you mean by underrated? Are you talking about great games with low sales? Are you talking about games that are generally considered shitty by so called videogame journalists but are actually really great? I want to know! I will go with the first definition I threw out, great games with low sales:
Panzer Dragoon series
Virtua Fighter 3tb
NiGHTS
too many Sega games to list
Just about anything from Treasure released in the US
Klonoa 2
There's a few.
THE ONE, THE ONLY- RCM

Spawn: In The Demon's Hand (DC) - I know the single player kinda sucks, but it's truely a great multiplayer game. If you want some mindless killing, and a big cast of awesome charicters than you should check out this underrated game. Also it is the only decent game based off the spawn comic.
Fantasy Zone (NES, SMS) - A really fun side scroller/shooter that i've been playing for years on my NES. It was actually the first game i ever bought with my own money.
Outrun 2019 (Genesis) - A fun spin-off of the classic racing game. The driving is fast, controls are good, and the music is GREAT!!!
Blinx: The Time Sweeper (XBOX) - This game got ok reveiws, but i honestly beleive that it is one of the best platformers in years. To me it ranks right up there with sonic adventure. If you own an xbox than you should buy this game. You can get it new for like 20 bucks!
Batman Forever (SNES, GEN) - Im just kidding! This games sucks big floppy donkey wang!

Intelligent Qube and Alien vs. Preadator are among the most sought-after games for their respective systems. Wolfenstein 3D is equally popular if not more so. How the hell are they under-rated???

I second that one! Power Stone 2 is one of the best fighters ever! I really love that game.

Ballistic on the PS, Nuon, Game Boy and whatever else it appeared on. It's one of those games that I rented and loved. Even though it is cheap, I still haven't purchased my own copy yet.

Probably Castlevania Bloodlines on Genesis
NintendoMan

Now I now some of these are NOT the most underrated EVER, but they are underrated in the fact of they SHOULD have sold more copies and defiantly deserved more credit. Here it goes:
GC:
F-Zero GX
Beyond Good + Evil
Spinx and Cursed Mummy
Mario Sunshine (Yes, it should have done better and is a near perfect game in my eyes)
N64:
Beetle Adventure Racing
Off-Road Challenge
Cruisn' Series (Too many people knock this game)
And pretty much about ever other game on the DC. I know thats just too broad but really don't feel like listing all the games. Too lazy at the moment.

adding another new game:
STOLEN (PS2) from Hip games developed by blue52 a Dev team I think we should keep an eye on ;)
Sure Stolen has a few issues but its still a great game even if it does "borrow" from Splinter Cell it still has some great new ideas that are very well implemented for the most part and the graphics are as good as Splinter Cells at least on PS2 anyway.
If it werent for the AI needing a few tweaks and the fact that everytime you knock a guard out nomatter what you do he always wakes up and sets off an alarm  this game could have been a contender with MGS and SC as it is its still a great fun game especially for the price I got it for.
Heres hoping that a sequel with come through on all the promise that the first one shows.

None of the games mentiond really seem that underated they are renound as good games but sold poorely.
I thought that enter the matrix had enough poor good bits to make it a fun game. God knows how it got condemed to being the worst game ever.
So I nominate that.

Persona 2: Eternal Punishment.
I would have rather seen Innocent Sin translated.
